Duncan 23
Fantastic ride Froome and Porte.Fantastic job Kennaugh also
JamieD 19,003
That was simply awesome!Certainly was. Froome was only 15 seconds slower up the Ax-3 Domaines than Lance was in 2001.
AyeReadyStu 70
Froome Must have been so frustrating for him last year having to tow Wiggins up the mountain with him. Pretty obvious he could have won last year's tour if he'd have been let loose in the mountains.
Duncan 23
Kennaugh fell off his bike after a tangle with Another rider. Looked very sore! Still no word if he's back in group yet
Duncan 23
Team Sky torn to bits on first climb of the day. Only Froome and Porte still with bunch of chasers
Duncan 23
My bad. Porte isn't with Froome and has now been dropped from the Evans group. Think the other teams have had enough
JamieD 19,003
Can't imagine Degenkolb will be very pleased with Cav there Edit: It was Tom Veelers he clipped.
Kopter 310
Cav was out of order - could have caused a pile up.
JamieD 19,003
Cav was out of order - could have caused a pile up.I think Veelers made a dangerous manoeuvre, and took Cav's line, but just as you aren't entitled to nudge a car off the road just because the driver nearly crashes into you, Cavendish isn't really entitled to knock him off his bike at high speed. Kopter 310
TT today should be a good opportunity for Froome to put more time between himself and the chasing pack. Can't see past Tony Martin to win the stage today though.I'm not writing off Alberto Contador to win it just yet. You can get him at 25s now. JamieD 19,003
Somebody sprayed Cav with urine during the TT The life of a pro cyclist really is disturbingly piss-orientated.
JamieD 19,003
At the first intermediate time check, Froome is one second quicker than Tony Martin (who was a minute faster than anyone else).

JamieD 19,003
Two seconds ahead at the second. Can't help thinking he's fortunate that he didn't win there. If Sky think the questions are bad now...
Kopter 310
Great ride from Froome - Can't wait to get to the Alps now - there has to be some jaw dropping attacks from the others behind him to eat into that lead.

Kopter 310
The only thing I can see stopping him is a crash. Can't argue with that - Someone should have attacked him on Sunday when they had the chance. Can't imagine Sky will have another horror show like that.
Duncan 23
I don't think this is over yet. Team are not as strong as we thought so the attacks will come thick and fast in the mountains I reckon
CaptainAmerica18 846
@MarkCavendish: Well i think the apple juice looks far from appetising for me tonight... And I'm not taking the piss. Did that once already today. #standup
JamieD 19,003
Well well well, I don't think anybody expected this stage to be so interesting and to have such an effect on the GC Valverde is cooked. Froome fell asleep.Maybe Contadope was hustling everybody after all.
