papaguy51 941
I never got that to be honest i always think if you stop the cross you stop the danger. It was up there, along with playing one up front at home to St Mirren, to name but a couple of things that didn't make sense to me with Walter's tactics. TerryTibbs 250
He could not header a ball so playing as centre back would be a no no.Sasa was a nice guy but very poor defensively, he barely ever managed to stop a cross going in.A cult hero.Bet Messi disagrees. He never got a sniff that 0-0 game at Ibrox

Manno 11
Only thing missing from his time was a goal against 'them'. That last minute winner up in Perth was brilliant.
rfcfraserrfc 262
Anyone saying Sasa isn't good enough as a CB for Div 3 is clearly over estimating the standard of the league.
cstamomusa 3,812
One of our best players of the last decade. What more do you want from a guy. He rarely had a bad game, rarely was injured, always did what was asked of him, was never a top top earner, never ran his mouth and did his talking on the park, etc, etc. Not a world beater by any means, but a solid, reliable player, and proved this over many seasons at Rangers. You just described a true Ranger. God bless the Papac.

Devlin 222
I had an argument with sasaaaaa on here with regards to Papac's footballing ability at which point he claimed mcgregor was a liability (He's a wank now but still not true) and also claimed Papac was better than Numan. I remember i think it was during the euro's Man Utd got Jaap Stam and we were getting Numan and i thought Man Utd fucked up here this Numan guys different class.I hope Papac has a good life as i may not have rated his play at times but his qualities as a man were there for all to see if you ever met him. Dont start your pish , plenty on here agreed that he was as good as Numan .And as for the liability in big games superstar goal keeper , how many was it that came running for him when they could have got him for FREE ? debear 603
Papac contributed far more to Rangers than the injury prone Numan, although Numan was a better player.
NorthernLights 2,529
Numan was a much better player, but Papac probably made the bigger contribution.
MartinGers93 388
Disagree that he wasn't strong defensively. He put in one of the best defensive one-on-one performances I've ever seen against Messi in that 0-0 at Ibrox. It's hard to remember Messi even playing it that game that's how good a shift the big man put in.
