Gaz92 966
Not new contracts no, their contracts on the exact same terms, including length, were transferred over. Any extension is a separate thing, you can't change terms of employment during TUPE.Fair enough .

JMac_88 310
We need to get Wee Barrie signed to a new contract. We cannot afford to lose exceptional young talent at this moment in time. Before the likes of Man City start looking around for young talent. LeeWallaceRFC 3,920
EVERTON are understood to be considering a bid for Rangers teen sensation Barrie McKay.The 17-year-old, left, is one of the few positives to emerge from the club’s season so far. After scoring in Rangers’ 5-1 home win over East Stirling, Ally McCoist labelled his display as “magic”, and it is believed Everton, who already signed ex-Ibrox duo Nikica Jelavic and Steven Naismith have now been alerted to the teenager’s talent. The player’s current deal runs out in May and he could sign a pre-contract with the Premier League club within weeks.http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/342644? Grant_1986 73
Moyes is only doing what every other tim does, obsessing over all things Rangers, however, is Barrie even that good yet? He's only played a handful of games, and it just goes to show how poor our coaching methods normally are that we get all excited over a player who can actually run with the ball and pick out a pass. I seem to remember Arsenal, Spurs and Man Utd being interested in Fleck in the beginning, only for us to tie him down to a long term contract and most of us to celebrate like we've held on to Messi or something. Look how that one turned out. Yes, Barrie McKay has shown promise, but that's all it is, nothing more. The last thing we need is for these youngsters to believe their hype, because their talent certainly wasn't evident at Berwick.

WaltersGotStyle 160
Everton probably see potential in his ability and at 17 he is young enough to be moulded into an even better player.
The Godfather 71,982
If he walks out the door for nothing I'll be raging. Before letting any youngster get a run of games in the first team they should be on a decent length of contract as this is always going to happen.
