FirrhillLoyal 318
Most of the police don't give a fuck, they give it a quick 'check' then leave. Although we did get robo cop on the way to Peterhead who told us the bus is getting turned round and no one would see the game We have a wee compartment above the toilet. ricksen_da_best 2,034
Given that they're going to make drinking on the trains illegal soon I doubt there's any chance of any change to the law.Hide in the toilet.Text us n aww, lost my numbers again. glesgabear81 24
Depending on what your preferred pre match tipple is I'd imagine it would be fairly easy to get around this. (outrageous banning alcohol on buses going to football though).

BEE 4,880
A private bus is not the same as a public train though. The SNP wouldn't even consider it, laws around alcohol are tight now and I'd expect to see more introduced rather than any scrapped. Spectre 1,663
Didn't know drinking was banned on trains for fans travelling to games, that it was just during the times of that new law ?what new law?
JCDBigBear 10,835
As with many new laws or changes to old laws it is far too late to moan about these after the event. It is easier to stop something happening than to try to change it retrospectively. Too many people do nothing until the change has been made. This was the same with some of our songs. JM1872 3,745
what new law?The one where alcohol is not permitted on trains during the hours of 9pm (maybe 10pm) and 10am? Maybe not a law as such came in fairly recently. It's now an offence apparently.
Steps_up 10
The law is that you can't drink on way, or returning from a sporting event. My mate had a carry out taken off him on train back from rugby in Edinburgh. Supporters busses are just an easy target.

bede 19
I think it's a pretty standard law worldwide especially on trains,

They're basically just saying they won't have drunks on their train but if the trains I've got the last few Fridays after the pub are anything to go by they're nice not even enforcing their own policy.
