The reason they are singing this at the end is because a few Scousers stayed back to make aeroplane gestures at the away fans. Some were arrested for it I believe.

United fans did bait LFC fans with 'Where's your famous Munich song?' during the game. Given Liverpool fans history for singing this and some of the stuff in the press over the past week or so I reckon you have got to give the Mancs that one.

Ever heard a song about Munich?

A long time ago.

From todays papers

.Some United fans kept behind after the match were, sadly, heard singing their songs about "murderers" and "victims", taken as a slur about Hillsborough. According to reports they were responding to a couple of Liverpool supporters making aeroplane gestures as a taunt about the Munich air crash. That dismal exchange happened in an otherwise empty ground, however, and during a fractious game supporters were tetchy rather than hostile

However, some time after the final whistle, when most of the Liverpool fans had left, a couple of home supporters ran across the main stand to the far corner, where the visiting contingent remained on police orders, and started making aeroplane signals.

It was an obvious reference to the Munich air disaster in 1958, in which eight United players were amongst 21 people who lost their lives. United fans responded immediately by chanting “Always the Victims” and “Murderers” in a reminder of the Merseyside club’s own recent tragedies - Hillsborough and Heysel.

.

Fans of all clubs misbehave and personally I'm uncomfortable with the idea that some are beyond criticism whereas others are pilloried

Agreed, both sides are at it. Liverpool can't take the moral high ground when their fans are at it as well.

Aye they had to wait until everyone was out the ground then sing it. Shower of wankers hope a couple of them got murdered on the way home.

How many Asians where singing this not knowing what the fuck it's all about.

For a big club like Man u they have no mark fans.

So because you're an asian you can't know the history of your favourite football club , You just embody the cliché of the typical rascist and narrow-minded european then, well done mate :wanker:

I didn't like the way Liverpool fans were all up in arms after Alan Davies comments about them refusing to play any game on the anniversary of the disaster, even though it inconveniences several teams concerned at the business end of the season - he was making a valid point but was made out as though he was mocking the incident and telling fans to get over it which clearly wasn't the case. Then he offered money to the hillsborough charity and they refused his apology, terrible banter

I think they should all say sorry, 96 times each. Then we should all say sorry for viewing that video, 96 times each. Then anyone who knows us should say sorry, 96 times each.

Then we should all repeat "Liverpool is the capital of the world and all of their supporters are loveable, witty, scamps", 96 times.
