Yet another VB page -- this time with added labour flavour

Recommended Posts

Do you ever get the impression that all non Rangers fans stick their fingers in there ears la la la ing when this is raised, there are loads of super articles from VB but seemingly only reaching the eyes of agreeable bears.

I've been saying this for a long time. "preaching to the converted" would just about cover it.

With all due respect, I would say this is the easy way out.

I think most blue noses would still subscribe to many of the values the Labour Party promote. Unfortunately, over the last 20-30years it appears to have been taken over and is now largely run by the 'Celtic-minded'. We can whine all we want about this but ultimately it's down to them getting involved, taking part in meetings and committees, until they reached the dominant position they are in today. Meanwhile, we have complacently sat on our backsides in the political sense.

Tends to ring a bell on the football front as well, doesn't it.

Maybe it's time we got active and try to rest some control back.

Sorry Ibroxholm, you don't speak for any Bears I know!!!

I used to be a member of my local Labour Party. 25 years ago there were about 6 or 7 known tims that used to come along to meetings, due to illness, I dropped out, then went to a meeting about 5 years ago. The 6 or 7 times were ALL on 'The Committee' I could not fucking believe it, but it was all down to apathy.

BTW We've got the biggest Rangers Supporters Club in the world here!

In a nutshell and it's the only way we will get our voice back. Apathy and handwringing doesn't work with people who want you eradicated from Scottish society.

Excellent post.

I won't be voting Labour again in the near future for various reasons but this still hits the nail on the head.

For those who vote labour on here, last night mathieson (who gets away with indecent sex acts in public) signed off his commonwealth speech with the republican slogan "our day has come"

Not voting labour goes way beyond supporting rangers.

Isn't it supposed to be "Our day WILL come", meaning a united Ireland? Not sure how the Commonwealth games plays into that.
