RM Monitor And Standards Officer 112,911
Our Club is done now thanks to McCoist. Its over for our Club that's a fact.Ffs Ally was a hopeless manager but he isn't in charge of the funds. The club is fucked because green and co down to the rest of the pricks in the boardroom couldn't manage our money, we now live on borrowed time

6superbarry6 14,618
I'm done, fucking ludicrous decision just bad news all the time with no light at the end of the tunnel a pale imitation of the club I grew up with
bluedart1952 1,392
Previous boards ,the mendacious dave and his patsy's in the fan groups have totally fucked us up and could send us into admin 2, so what do people expect to happen that we wont sell our sellable assets to keep going, plus the legacy that super Ally has left us is going to take more than 6.5 million investment to put right. eejay the dj 31,964
Psb mate .Its an embarrassment from top to bottom .And see the ones that are deliberately trying to pick fights with fellow bears .That's an even bigger riddy
GOAT 30,449
We've lost far better players than MacLeod in my lifetime, life goes on.We obviously need the money, so we do whatever we can to make sure there's still a club for us to support next year. The club is fucked because green and co down to the rest of the pricks in the boardroom couldn't manage our money, we now live on borrowed timeAlly has had a massive hand in our capitulation. He blew a massive lead over them in our Admin season.Fucked us out of Europe against mince.Fucked us out of every cup competition since.Fannied about with transfers and signed pish like Foster, Daly, Kyle, Sandaza... Instead of bringing some boys through and signing cheap players with potential. It took hearts 6 months to do what we should have done 3 years ago. McCoist has fucked us over, probably not maliciously, but through stupidity. His refusal to leave when he couldn't do the job has ruined us though. Gillete 1,338
We had/have no scouting system in place for the market we had to transfer in , so instead he bought players he knew who were finishedFoster, Smith , Miller, Boyd...the list goes on

But if your told here go spend x amount you will do it. It's the bean counters who must be held accountable and whoever decided huge contracts should be held out to piss poor players.Mind football managers all get budgets and tend to spend them

Would you bring in Kevin Kyle? Jon Daly? Would you bring pish like Black in? Stevie Smith? I'm not blaming Ally for spending it, you're right that he shouldn't have been given it, but I think every person on this forum could have bought better. He was out of his depth and he's fucked us over not just short term but long term too. We're at least 2/3 years from recovering from his pish. And I'm not absolving the boards, they've been hopeless and spineless, but Ally was the guy we thought we could trust throughout all this, yet he was the only constant throughout it all: he's a failure as a Manager. I would have taken at least two of the Queen's Park boys after our first season. But ally was a shitbag in that sense mate but tbh he was allowed to go on with a signing policy that was never sustainable. He shoudlve had his contract altered after the tupe conditions ended or should've been relieved of his position as soon as the ipo funds were in. But we had folk in charge with no interest in RFC
RFC Eagle 4,888
That will be you then eh ?HR has a season ticket which is used by a number of deserving people who wouldn't be able to attend otherwise. KingKirk 26,501
At the end of the day a football manager will spend his budget.. That's down to the FD to decide the budget. Its then down to whoever does the contact talks to remain strong and pay only what we could afford..Clearly hasn't happened
KingKirk 26,501
Also they electronic boards at 2million each plus the WiFi at 1million.. Money has been wasted on pointless stuff. When we made all that money from the share issue the board then acted like a kid in a sweetie shop. simplythebest 11,453
No surprise especially with promotion now looking unlikely. Very sad to lose one of the few players worth keeping, but I think he's had some overhype as well, wouldn't shock me to see him back in Scotland two or three years down the line as has happened so many times. Smile 26,624
This price with add ons was always going to be about the most we could hope for a young guy who's not even proved himself in his own position or a decent standard of league, especially when clubs can see we are struggling financially. This will be a tough move for Lewis and he will need to improve a lot to make it in England. Good luck to him but he should have stayed a wee while longer and got more experience first.
