WadeWilson 4,670
Just a heads up for anyone who may wish to go along and see the new movie biog of Paul Gascoigne. Not sure how much of his Rangers career will be shown but it should be a good watch for any football fan and there are sure to be a few entertaining tales told along the way. It's in cinemas for one night only on Monday 8th June.Cineworld - Glasgow Renfrew StreetStandard 18:50 ODEON Glasgow Springfield QuayStandard 18:50 Vue Cinemas - Glasgow FortStandard 18:
gersandy 594
Should be a good watch. From reading his interviews about the film it seems to be more focused on his breakthrough in Italia 90 and his battle with the bottle.
WadeWilson 4,670
They were discussing this on Radio Scotland earlier and I have to say they had nothing but warm praise for Gazza; Richard Gordon, Chick Young, Richard Wilson and even Paddie Bonner - they all had positive tales to tell. The one thing that shone through was his generosity and kindness towards others. From the story of giving a tramp on the streets of NYC his hotel room key and telling him to make himself at home and order anything from room service to the story of him playing 'world cup' with the Ibrox ballboys and giving them £50 each for doing so. The guy practically gave all his money away in acts of kindness.Although giving Jimmy Five-Bellies £100 and telling him to run just so he could shoot him in the arse with an air rifle was perhaps not considered an act of kindness at the time!
