Ger77 742
We haven't heard about this because it isn't news people want to read,Now a couple of Rangers supporters allegedly singing naughty songs or abusing a Sellic dug, that is true journalism. coopsleftboot 5,512
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it isn't Rangers that are suing is it? It's Duff and Phelps I thought?
there'sonlyoneamoruso 1,724
I read the article on the DR website about it. Looks like a writ has been served but it has been 'sisted' which I think means put off as there are criminal proceedings against the D&P guys.I won't be holding my breath about this to be honest. eskbankloyal 19,446
Apparently, word on the street ! The writ served yesterday ?Writ was served in May but D&P have agreed to let it lie until the criminal cases against them over 2011 takeover is finalised. Was in the Record today

Trooblue 2,024
Maybe Daly will have to remove that TV award from his mantelpiece.
trueblueal 2,117
Once upon a time man gets charged with crime, man denies it and makes spurious claim. Claim goes nowhere. Man goes to jail. The end
Bydo 3,461
So either A) They're criminals, go to Jail and the BBC were on the money.Orb) They're not criminals, they don't go to jail but the BBC are liars- but we're no further to knowing why we were fucked over so much. Each of those is a double edged sword but I'd prefer option A. thebluedoo 2,652
I think that if D & P are successful it could open the door for a stream of writs, off the top of my head I remember disparaging comments about B Ferguson, W Smith and many other members of Rangers staff. They also tried to point the finger at Souness taking Tuguy to Blackburn. Revealing private tax details of individuals using dodgy means of acquiring this information ( LNS ) may also be judged to be criminal. Squeaky bum time for the BBC, imagine accusing so many individuals of being dishonest with thier taxes when judges have said otherwise.
auchinairn true blue 58
Doubtful if anything will come of it. Probably trying to use as a distraction for their own court caseDon't be so sure about that there were many legal matters to be addressed before they could proceed. You only have to look at the Collyer Bristow case to see there was intent to claim as much assets as they could,at that time Whyte and Tickettus were still relevant it may also be a case that they feel this program damaged the product to the extent that it cost them money. ritchieshearercaldow 22,450
So hopefully if D&P are successfull we as licence payers foot the bill or does Daly pay his own?
