The Official Sanctions (piss take)

Hibernian

For Hibernian fans being unable to enter the field of play to celebrate victory without fear of reprisals from the nasty Rangers.   Penalty:  Rangers shall subsidise 50% of the cost of all match tickets for supporters of Hibernian.

Rangers

For singing the venomous anthem "The Billy Boys". Penalty:    £300,000 to be paid with immediate effect to the Leith Smack Heads Recovery Fund.

For Rangers players impeding Hibernian fans when they entered the pitch, and causing them to be put in fear of unlawful violence; thereby requiring them to take pre-empitive offensive actions against the said Rangers players.    Penalty:  The said Rangers players to be banned for 5 matches in the 2016/17 season, the matches being at the choice and discretion of Hibernian FC.

For Rangers FC having such a notorious reputation that the Polis were strategically placed outside The West End of Hampden, thereby rendering any deployment to facilitate the safe ingress of Hibernian fans onto the Hampden turf inadequate and ineffective.  Penalty: The big bad Rangers to provide appropriate compensation to those fans of Hibernian who were traumatised by the ordeal.

For Rangers fans entering the field of play and causing untold anxiety and fear to  Hibernian fans celebrating their moment in history.   Penalty:  The said Rangers FC to have no ticket allocation for matches in the 2016/17 season for matches other than those  at Ibrox Stadium.

Queens Park FC

For having goal frames of such flimsy construction that fans of Hibernian sustained back strain whilst negotiating the said goal frames; together with the ingress of shards of wood into the more rotund  Hibernians fans when the aforementioned goal frames collapsed.    Penalty:   Queens Park FC to provide appropriate compensation for all claims for back strain and splinters from Hibernian fans.

That seems a fair minded panel.

Mind you it will probably be along those lines when/if they ever tell us who they are. :(

It would be interesting to see a full list of the names of those allegedly banned, because I suspect that would be a hell of a lot of guys called John Smith, Donald Duck, Sylvester daCat, Mick Mouse and T. Weetypie.

If they are being sincere then good, but if as I think we all suspect it's simply a smokescreen then they should be ashamed.

Hibernian FC today announced that it has taken action against a number of supporters identified as being involved in incidents on the pitch at Hampden following the Scottish Cup Final on May 21st.

Sanctions including life bans and indefinite bans have been imposed so far.

Leeann Dempster, Chief Executive of Hibernian FC, said: “While Police Scotland will continue with their own inquiries, we will continue to review what happened and take the action we think appropriate to protect the Club’s good name. We will also co-operate fully with the Independent Commission established by the SFA.

“We have initiated contact with the supporters informing them of our decision. We will continue to identify and impose appropriate sanctions against others involved in unacceptable behaviour."

Completely ineffective when they don't turn up to the games anyway for fucksake

Infringement of the copyright laws right there.

Big Jocks lament the last time there was a huge unpunished cover up

Oh and a fucking lie, stroke faced bitch

Aye, the very same plods that spun the cock & bull that Bears were running riot outside and threatening them after the match say they have helicopter surveillance viddys? Could very well be true, but until they produce it you'll pardon me if I remain a wee bit skeptical. If they do actually have it, they'll probably edit it to use against us rather than the true culprits.

Don't think that was the police, think that was the fenian dr reporter.
