andyhrfc 2,242
Just landed in Carlisle after the drive up from London. Decent sleep then ready for a short drive up to Livingston. Belting game at Stamford Bridge, could have finished 4-4. Awesome strike from Sturridge accompanied by bedlam in the stands. Hazard a world beater at the moment. BlueSuedeSambas 53,917
Who do you think would be the best candidate for the Man Utd job? Zidane is the obvious answer but there is still that question mark hanging over whether he can do it outside the Real Madrid bubble (I don’t agree with it but it’s a reservation that a lot of people raised about Pep when he left Barca too) and I think he might be the short term fix they need to lift the whole mood around the club. If they want to look long term then I think Pochettino might be the best option. He’s hit a glass ceiling at Spurs and won’t break through it so a move to a bigger club is the next logical step and to me Man Utd have always played relatively good football, they’ve always had a core of strong English players and they have a decent commitment to developing young players so I think they would be a good fit for him. There is that question mark about whether he can win trophies though.

Zambon 45
It's been a bad 24hrs for Steve Bruce. First a fan chucks a cabbage at him; now he's been sacked. At least he's free to resume his career as a best-selling novelist. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Steve-Bruce/e/B0034PGBRY/ref=dp_byline_cont_book_1
