COGITRAINING

Traditional football training is all about rhythm, timing, spacing, technical and mental skills. CogiTraining is a modern training method that helps with speed of vision, speed of decision-making, speed of execution.

I believe Rangers should adopt this training style. I thought it might be a subject worthy of debate ... :)

If it was something that would work then it would be worthy of trialing. I think rigourous training is required with some if not all of our players in reality though. There is a serious issue with how they're connecting with each other in my opinion.

They can't all have forgotten how to pass a ball to each other and get it into the net, but it certainly seems like it at times.

posting some picture of pele, Maradona and Cruyff doesn't make it good. Its just a marketing video trying to come up with something different.

The method's objective is to generate intelligent players who can think and play faster and more accurately in a collective approach. AC Milan has been using the CogiTraining/SenseBall on it's young players.

What benefits does this method have over existing methods utilised by Rangers?

I believe it would help the team to get in sinc and master playing 4-3-3

What research is there which shows the benefits of this?

The CogiTraining Method is based on 15 years of  research by Michel Bruyninckx he has wrote papers on his findings. He did extensive research into cognitive neurology, neuropsychology, neurobiology, kinesiology, posturology, neuro pedagogics and didactics. his main goal was to understand a better way for the brain to organise information and how to improve the performance of athletes.

Why does the video claim clubs who don't actually use this technique are using this method?

They are, some of the teams mentioned our using it through their youth programme.

How would a process aimed at children and teenagers help, what should be, senior professionals?

So the guy who started it said it's good? That's reassuring. Is there any first-hand evidence of clubs using this method and it improving performance or the ability of their players?

Many of the clubs named in the video are missing from the website and other "testimonials" only appear to exist on their website. They specifically mention Barcelona for example. Barcelona don't use this cogiball/senseball  stuff (either at La masia or at any of their external "Escolas".

It's on YouTube, mate.  Nice graphics, and the narrator sounds like a wee whore.  These training methods are the future of Rangers football club.

"If you pay just 54 instalments of £99.99 you too can own the full CogiBall training pack which includes, floataway football, fuck-off big elastic band and a cheap, plastichandle that your dog will chew and ruin in days. Here are some absolutely not photoshopped football megastars using Senseball"
