He was being too greedy so MW took him off for an applause at a time where it looked like we could score another few, no issues for me.

Too greedy? If he was doing fuck all with the ball then, fair enough, but he won us the game.

Yes too greedy. He wasn't releasing the ball to players in better positions as he was trying to get his hatrick. It was detrimental to the team.

Tav being shite and a greedy cunt didn't seem to get him subbed off, doubt that was the reason tbf.

Ffs. He has just come back from a lengty spell out. He has had a couple of outings as a sub and now has had a start and longer on the field. I think that Warburton is building him back up gradually and have no problems with that.

just about to mention that PLUS it was a truly disgraceful pitch, would people prefer him to have gotten injured?

He was clean through and rolled the ball to Tav who fucked up his first touch. Wasn't too greedy, just confident. Should have stayed on IMO. Said it in the match thread well before he got subbed. Needed 90 for match sharpness more than anything else.

like the winning goal or goals to a massive round of ovation especially just two goals? Well in all honesty we are a million miles away from that ! Just sayin like ! Mibbee am jist hard tae please!:sherlock:

Tbh, I thought he was starting to look a little tired, not surprising given the shift he put in. I think it was the right decision although it does piss me off a bit when a player is on a hat trick .

It was Waghorn's turn to put the kettle on for the full time teas. Mr Warburton is a professional in man management and knows some players like a nice cuppa and a chat after running around a football park for 90 minutes, especially in the cold winter months.  It builds team spirit and gives the players something else to put on their CV which could add to their transfer value.

If we do well in the league Mr King will invest in an automatic tea maker next season.

He came off with about 15 still to go, clearly that was tactical and not for the purpose of letting him get an applause for his goals! If you're doing that it happens around the 90 minute mark to give him an applause and waste time!

He hasn't started since October, hardly surprising that he never got 90 mins!
