Heshootshescores 1,905
It doesn't work. It just builds a siege mentality and their own kind respond to that and take our seats. Attending and not spending within the ground probably more effective. Id rather  we avoided them and see them go out in early rounds to to the likes of Falkirk watched by a 2k crowd.

mabawsa 888
they are irrelevant these days. Might struggle to have a squad for next season or never mind a recognisable club. Oh well, hey ho, reap what ye sow!
The Specky Forum Organiser 66,402
Would you boycott a game at Ibrox or Hampden against them? We need to get away from this whole boycotting nonsense.
there'sonlyoneamoruso 1,724
If we draw them in the cup the ground will sell out whether Rangers are taking the allocation or not. So DUFC will get 1/2 the gate money anyway. Of course the way DUFC have acted towards us is disgusting, and the fans don't want to put money in Thompson's pocket after the abandoned game ticket fiasco. BUT, we would be better going and out singing those shitehawk bastards and backing the team.

Although that would again mean less money for the club. Seems a bit silly though.

We would have a real chance to bury these cunts. and you now know my thoughts in front of it. Just because fans stay away for one cup game in which gate receipts are split 50/50 will never contribute to sinking them. More likely revenue streams, advertising and their own attendance figures will do that. Not a single game against us ffs By suggesting a boycott you deny Rangers some cash and bears their day out watching the greatest club on earth - who'd actually truly think that.
graeme_4 35,277
Fuck boycotting. It's all about Rangers. Would rather back our team, than attempt to financially hit some diddy club.
With Heart and Hand 8,951
I would hope the Club would back a boycott, but King is a shitebag so that will never ever happen imo. I wont be going, hope they die before we can draw them in any cup One big crowd from us could be enough to keep them afloat, hope all of our fans treat them the way they treated us. Hope they dont get us at Ibrox or the taigs at the Bill Cosby Dome, hope they draw teams like Peterhead and struggle for cash all season. Fuck them

G.E.C. 19,093
Highly doubt the current board would support a full boycott given the 20% share in gate receipts.

We need to get away from this whole boycotting nonsense. Exactly. Technically if it was at Ibrox against them and we boycotted we would do them out of more money, because there would be a bigger crowd and it's a 50/50 split. So the talk of boycotting only if we get them away doesn't make any sense at all.
Vanoli 4,628
Personally i'd rather go and scud them 5-0 while belting out the entire songbook and absolutely lording it over them. Never forget the Craig Whyte masks, go there and show them times have changed - Rangers never died, but Dundee United just might.
