Paulbrian11 433
Souness bossed this game like the magnificent bastard he was and is. That’s what we need. Someone to swagger in with a streak of arrogance about them. gmcf, Laudrupsleftfoot and Walter-of-Smith
gsa 3,906
Actually laughed at Souness in that video. He actually has the swagger, confidence, aggresssion and ability that Scott Brown pretends he has. What a magnificent beast of a man.

BlearyEyedBear 4,148
45 seconds into that video was what we were missing on Sunday. elliotblu
Laudrupsleftfoot 11,350
Cooper was unreal there. That's a Rangers I want to see, passing attacking attractive football with flair, combined with men who are men that will win the physical battle. TheGovanIniesta 1,000
From Souness to Holt Would have loved to have been an older bear experiencing all the decades before me, what an experience Best I can aspire to see is qualifying for Europe to get pumped by average teams
theweebluenose 4,335
Souness - A proper hardman who could play. Cooper - A proper Rangers man who could play. Fred H Crawford
harlands plater 17,065
So clear that Souness looked on the tarriers the way you look at a bit of shite on the sole of your shoe. TheMotor and elliotblu
Virtuoso 27,180
When you look at the team we had back then, it's hard to believe that the following season we finished in 3rd place behind Hearts before then going onto 9-in-a-row. What could have been....

gmcf 34,647
I'm one of the guys taking pictures at the rhs of the goals at the Broomloan Rd end But yeah , you could see Souness knew how to play mind games . Take out their biggest player and then take no shit from the ref when he had the audacity to book him . Oh , and he could play football too . In fact , he embodies everything that is missing from our current set up , from the boardroom down .

One of which , I'm sure Souness got sent off at p......d and called Syme a poof Think he got a 5 game ban for that , though to ensure he missed the League Cup Final , which was 6 games away , they banned him for 4 games for the red card , allowed him to play one , then banned him for the final for his comment . TheMotor 2,208
The crazy thing watching Souness there was that was him winding down at the end of his career. He had actually mellowed by this point. I swear he probably ate raw steaks for breakfast and punched people in the face to say hello. Cooper would have caused so much argument if the internet had been around then. Only turned up every second or third game but he was a genius and the reason I went to every game through the 80s. When he was on it he was untouchable and it was usually the big games he turned up for. I so wish he was still with us but I'm also glad he never had to see the shite we're going through.
