Rangers have appealed Alfredo Morelos’ latest red card against Aberdeen.

The Light Blues - who won 4-2 at Pittodrie against the Dons - submitted an official appeal to the SFA by today’s 1pm deadline.

It comes after Morelos was given his marching orders for a kick at Scott McKenna, with the Donsstopper also dismissed for booting the Colombian international in the face.

El Buffalo has now been sent off FOUR times this season - and THREE have come against Derek McInnes’ men.

The 22-year-old was also red carded in Gers’ season opener for kicking out at McKenna but it was later rescinded by Hampden chiefs.

Dons gaffer McInnes urged SFA chiefs not to overturn last night’s red.

Morelos’ latest sending off means he has equalled the European record for the most in a single season.

We told earlier how celtic-daft Stoke City winger James McClean slammed the Gers hero for his reaction when McKenna lashed out.

Ex-Rangers star Alex Rae says the Ibrox club must seek ‘specialist help’ for the player

Speaking after his side’s crucial away victory, Light Blues boss Steven Gerrard warned Morelos his indiscipline will cost him a big move.

Gerrard said: “I think for Alfredo to go to the next level or to improve he will have to channel his aggression.”

Watched it again a good few times and I'm starting to agree more with the folk that say his leg was hooked by the Sheep's foot and it was more that than any intentional action by Morelos that caused Morelos' foot to be where it was. I'm not even convinced it was a yellow.

I everyone deliberately not spelling things correctly in this thread

Taking their cue from the Rangers website - article 'Gerrard lauds big win' - where the writer chooses to invent a new word 'Firey'.      Spelling it how it sounds and hoping to get away with it is the new way of working.

Surely they've no went and spoke to that provo cunt for a reaction?

Said yesterday after Boyds comments about refs that the msm would roll out the likes of chic charnley, Boric and the like to comment on us.

Can't believe I didn't include this piece of shit. It, like him, was a no brainer for go to Rangers haters.
