Not convinced he’ll play again with us, Balogun’s contract will tell a lot, if he’s extended then Simpson and Balogun will be backup and Katic will be shipped out on loan for game time. Goldson/balogun and helander won't be around forever and if 1 of these leaves then katic is back in the frame. I wouldn't be surprised if Edmundson moves on and Derby choose to buy him as well. Ayrshire Blue 2,053 Posted March 27, 2021 Share Posted March 27, 2021 I think Katic has a future with us too, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Edmundson back as I reckon he’s probably the most suited centre back to the Scottish game (that doesn’t mean he’s the best footballing centre back). Goldson has been immense this season, probably our most improved player (but still not POTY) & an ever present but I’d like to see him given a few games off and try a different pairing at the back in case he gets injured. I think he’s a bit limited but if he gets better at reading the game he can definitely do a job.
