Mike Newells Sexist Army 2
Spurs fan here. Ive been reading all the Rangers views on Hutton etc for the last couple of weeks on this board but never needed to post anything so this is a first. Has to be said, Charlie Nicholas is a knob. Biased arrogant knob and I wouldnt expect him to say anything less.couldnt agree more. an ex celtic player is hardly going to be the most neutral of people to talk about any gers player. Ex-Arsenal as well.
Bobby 41
Hopefully there is enough of a conveyor belt of talent comming through Murray Park that we can afford to sell these players and have others to come in and take their places. Lyon are a good example of challenging on all fronts while selling top players. Ajax are a previous example. no doubt it can be done. i dont think we are the kinda club that has to sell every player that an offer comes in for - just when it makes sense. Emerson 2
Since when have we become a selling club??? Wether you agree with it or not, £9M for a fullback is unheard of even in the over inflated EPL. This was one deal we could not turn down IMO. AC Milan sold Shevchenko for £30M, does that mean they are a selling club? Every player has his price, for Hutton it was £9M. If the boys you mention did have bids for the figures you have given, I would take them.

Muff 245
Hutton played very well. Had Rooney in his pocket at times. Man U b*stards scored in the last second and f*kd my coupon. We should not of let Hutton go for £9million!!

FlippinEck 3,844
he did well, he got forward a few times, had a shot on goal and had a couple of good cross/cutbacks. wasnt used as much in attack but that will come when they get used to him in the team. Tottenham did well overall, they all fought for the ball and for each other all over the park.

docspiderman 1,304
Managed to get the stream up and running for the 2nd half.Spurs back 4 were immense, Hutton bombing forward as usual and solid in defence.Chimbonda actually looks better at left back and Woodgate was top notch and had Dawson playing like a real defender. Hutton more than held his own, Macari was questioning his fitness and stamina but had to admit that he was still full of running at the end.

BlueSuedeSambas 56,400
Right bears and bearettes please try and keep everything and anything about Alan Hutton in this thread as the bears den is getting very crowded up with all the seperate threads. I know that we all hold him in high regard and it's nice to see how he is getting on at Spurs, but ultimately he is not our player anymore. Cheers people

Thermopylae 15,288
Provo was saying on clyde that McGeady is beating full backs for fun just now and we have sold the best full back in the business, and banked the money, with 3 of the 4 Old Firm games still to go
Ted E Bayer 541
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...rem/7210611.stm Michael Dawson and debutant Alan Hutton in particular were imperious and United rarely looked like getting anything out of the game.
