Well the players you mention show that quality does not have to come at a price, so some more of the same. If we buy the best(!) from Scotland, it is going to be well over the top. Look at Brown. Nearly £5M yet we got Mendes for almost half of the price. Berra would cost about £2.5M, about the same as we paid for Cuellar. Ill admit there is one or two decent players in the SPL, but pound for pound you can get a hell of a lot better elsewhere.
