Stuart_RFC 41
Miller should have been dropped. He's clearly struggling to overcome his hamstring injury, and it's really starting to affect his form. Agreed. I'd have dropped them both for this 1 and went with Naismith and Fleck up front. Craigy 0
If you swapped McCulloch for Naismith that would be a good team.
Stuart_RFC 41
Walter was so close to getting it right there...dropping Boyd for this 1 is the correct decision, starting Fleck is the correct decision, sticking with Miller and playing McCulloch , no! I am still quietly confident mind you. Hopefully McCulloch finally does what he is supposed to and adds a "physical presence"
Muff 245
TEENAGE star John Fleck has retained his place in Walter Smith's starting line up but top scorer Kris Boyd will begin the Pittodrie fixture on the bench. The 22 goal hitman's place is taken by Lee McCulloch, who is expected to appear on the left side of a five man midfield. Fleck will make his second consecutive start after a man of the match display on his full debut against Falkirk at Ibrox last weekend Rangers: McGregor; Broadfoot, Bougherra, Weir, Papac; Davis, Ferguson, Mendes, McCulloch; Fleck; Miller. Subs: Alexander, Boyd, Aaron, Whittaker, Novo, Dailly, Ness.
ShanksRFC 3,870
Why the fuck are we playing that numpty? You were right Muff, was always going to come at some point. Looks like a 4-5-1 with Fleck and Davis dropping into the wide roles, Miller playing up front himself.
The Lad 0
Why drop boyd and not miller?
mcpherson888 0
Why drop boyd and not miller? Because walter loves miller long time.
Boab 73
No reason why Aaron couldn't have played at left midfield.
Stuart_RFC 41
No reason why Aaron couldn't have played at left midfield. Not sure why we havent went for a natural winger, maybe because both strikers arent very tall so there will be no running to the byeline and whipping in crosses. We will just try to out-muscle them and look for the balls over the top for Fleck and Miller to chase on to. Be prepared for Davie Weirs "lumping it up the park" show today. mcpherson888 0
what a bizarre team really surprised Boyd is on the bench might be for the off. Good point is this a sign? Or is walter trying to push him out?

Muff 245
Charlie Adam or Lee McCulloch were always going to play in this match in a 4-5-1: our manager almost had it right with his selection but has bottled it as he's too cautious and worried about Aberdeen. How Lee McCulloch can get a game is anyone's guess. We'd have been better off with Charlie Adam. But no Kris Boyd
jamd1986 8
Lee fucking McCulloch... Why does he persist with that bag of shite. He's an atrocious footballer. A lump of rock would better playing LM. And I hope Boyd gets on early if things are going well...
