mitre_mouldmaster 21,509
Excellent sum of money anyway.Think you might be assuming this money comes into the club. Unfortunately the club doesn't make anything from this. Person A sells to Person B for £x. The club receives no money, it's just a deal between 2 folk. JM1872 3,708
How much of the club does 400 grand worth of shares get you.Of the 65m shares available, not much. In fact, not even 1% according to my calculations which might not be correct - circa 0.6%. Could this be Prior again?
daviecooper01 826
What generally happens is that those looking to buy will place an order for x amount of shares when the price hits y - when the price reaches this level, the purchase is made, assuming that there are those available in the marketplace. For this particular set of deals, it is likely to be sales between existing shareholders - may even be between the various investment trusts - not unusual, and TBH neither a good nor bad thing - just business. Parlaneloyal 353
I'm not a shareholder this time as I couldn't afford it.Can't believe some people reckon a 15% drop is a positive thing though.I hope the shares recover this morning
Gallows high 208
Worse than at first thought, shares down 15%.Why is it worrying, are you Gordon gekko ? Football shares tend to fluctuate , this 15% will recover
bawsburst 1,381
Maybe because it means 15% was wiped off of the clubs market value, you keep your head up your arse I will worry about it.

Guardian 4,281
I don't get the fixationwith the share price. They aren't heavily traded and there aren't many of them. Prices will go up as well as down and doesn't gain or cost the club either way Unless someone dismounting a takeover it really is of little interest to fans. bawsburst 1,381
Do you get frightened when the wind changes direction unexpectedly?Only when the CEO tells me all is hunky dory and the very same day the market tells me the opposite, maybe you don't think about £6 million being wiped from the clubs market value is worth worrying about, some of us remember what happened previously when the head in the sand brigade spoke. Colne Claret 1
The shares have dropped by 22.02% in the last month. That should be a concern for all of us, not just the shareholders.3]0]E0WWE$$ALL"]http://tools.morningstar.co.uk/uk/stockreport/default.aspx?Site=uk&id=0P0000XR0E&LanguageId=en-GB&SecurityToken=0P0000XR0E]3]0]E0WWE$$ALL
