Two DM would be fine if they could play forward. Fine to have one either side to drop in and make a back 4 when Tav or Barisic go forward. Problem is when we play Jack/Lundstrum/Davis/Sands. None of them have the ability to play fast on the transition. It’s all side to side and backwards

It’s clear to see our Centre Midfielders are our biggest issue.
Kamara, Jack, Lundstram, Davis, Sands & Arfield.
Not a single one of them are good enough to be starting for Rangers.
We should look for a buyer for Kamara in January (if anyone wants him), Jack, Davis & Arfield should be released in the summer, Lundstram should stay but not as a guaranteed starter, Sands should be returned to America in January.
The other part of this equation is our managers insistence on playing 2 CDM’s, he’s showing far to much respect to the diddy teams and needs to take a page out of the tarriers book and realise it’s not necessary.

We're not playing well under Beale, but the difference is we're taking home 3pts. If Gio was still at the helm I think we'd be 15pts behind by now., under Beale I think we're unlucky not to be just 6pts behind (albeit he takes some flak for that bad luck with his subs).
At the moment its all a bit silk purse and sows ear. Team needs to improve, but we need both fresh blood and to get existing players operating back to where they were. Given the state we were in, you really need to give Beale 12mths to see if it's working or not. 

Titles would be awarded and relegations would still happen based on when Covid shutdown happened rather than 'null & void' the season. Think I may even have been first 'journo' to confirm it.

On a serious note, the community work Rangers do is outstanding, and under appreciated, as is the work the Charity Foundation do.

The first priority with every single signing from now onwards must be the player's injury record.
Given our track record (going back many years), anything else is sheer incompetence.

Thought at the time it was a mistake getting rid of a proven player who wanted to stay and still had something to offer. I still think that.

Yeh. I guess we’ve at least signed some wingers. They’ve just all been hopeless. We haven’t really made an effort to find a midfield playmaker. We seem to accumulate CDM or players that can pass sideways like they’re going out of fashion. 

It’s mental that these two positions have been a problem since we got back to the top flight and have still never been properly addressed.

Getting the best out of senior players who are underperforming.
 A creative midfielder and a right winger. Nothing new there.
Looking for a keeper instead of waiting until the summer should be considered.
Giving serious consideration to Lowry, McCann & Lovelace.
Getting to the root problem of why we have so many injuries. It can't all be down to bad luck.
Hopefully, improved fitness levels should have started a few hours ago.

Putting my positive hat on, getting pumped out of Europe might be a god send. Beale can concentrate solely on domestic results and look to build confidence, which is severely lacking, without the inevitable spankings in the champions league dragging everyone down.
also, not even making the Europa or Conference means he has more time to work on the training ground.
like many on here he wasn’t my first choice but, being honest, neither was Walter when Souness fucked off and look how that turned out.

A guy who was born and raised in England has fell in love with Scotland but more importantly our fantastic club. I wish him and his family well I hope he can deliver us several trophies.

Think it’s good he went when he did, it was beginning to get ugly and he’s went at a stage when there’s still two cups to win and 3 old firms in the league left to play. 
I have no ill feelings towards Gio, it just unfortunately didn’t work out. I wish him the best in the future.

Well seems it's odds on that it'll be Beale. 
Not exactly chuffed about it because he's shown absolutely nothing to warrant why he should be managing a club of our stature or that he can actually do a job for us, but I'll be behind him 100% of the way. 
Here's hoping he doesn't come in and play favourites with certain players. If he can get Kent back to playing well, then zero complaints, but I'd be shocked if that weasel hasn't already contractually checked out. 
I will say that I'm more a fan of appointing Beale than some of the absolutely howling suggestions of people like Rebrov coming in.
