I think from that statement that he will be training away from the first team and probably have to come in and out through a side gate and have no contact with any first team players. All meals will be taken in a broom cupboard with a security guard watching his every move. 
Or we could maybe all act like adults and say it was a fuck up by all parties and it is now in the past.

Glad Ohallaren has kept his place. Was one of the few to get pass marks last time out for me. The midfield three really need to get a hold of the game.

You're right, we have no idea what's happened.  However, if you read back in this thread you'll see people ready to believe and overreact to any negative Barton story or unsubstantiated rumour.  Yet, Weir apparently throwing Barton across a room is something we shouldn't believe without evidence but many would applaud if it turned out to be true.  The rumour doesn't need to be factual in order to expose the double standards amongst our supporters.
I don't understand the disproportionate level of hatred that exists on here for Barton and can't help but feel the player is getting a very hard time.  There's literally no way back for this guy because the media and fans have turned him in to some kind of evil villain.  Many are hating him without good cause.  Here's a guy that could be one of  our main player assets getting hounded out of the club and no one seems to be bothered.

Why did he sign a player who had just had an excellent season in a league the manager knows well, who has a wealth of experience to aid a reasonably young midfield, who possesses leadership qualities and who should have been a standout midfielder in Scotland?
Dunno.
But do I think DK sanctioned it against MW wishes, with MW carrying on as normal, with MW then also playing this enforced player in every key game? Sure as hell no. And that is the reality of it if your beliefs have any foundation which they don't.

Neither Barton or Rossiter played against Aberdeen and our midfield still looked pedestrian as fuck.
The dynamism has been gone for a while and it seemed to get blamed on Krancjar/Rossiter/Barton but that's since been shown to be a myth.

Listen...who hasn't fucked up big time at some point.  If we can get Joey really focused along with Halliday in the team we'd have real mental strength...a real Rangers mentality.  I'm all for giving him the one last chance.  WATP... I've listened to those same interviews.  He's won promotion 3 times, with 3 different clubs, and knew the challenge Burnley faced in the EPL.  He did very well last season, won plaudits from his fellow professionals, the fans, and wanted more of the same success going forward.  He walked away from possible EPL football, and the bigger money, to come and win things with Rangers.  He felt, having had one of his best ever seasons last year, he wasn't coming up here past his best and still had a lot to offer the club.
