Koeman is miles ahead.
Ramos is 5th with 138.
Another 3 seasons and there is every chance Tav gets close to or pips Koeman.

Would rather Sterling played in midfield rather than LB.

No its fantastic play by the rest of the team lol
that's not strictly true. its usually fantastic play by the rest of the team and then he goes and fucks it up.
a fair amount of his goals have come from some individual brilliance... and there in lies the issue: he flatters to deceive AND deceives to flatter :)

Wee bit of nostalgia mate they’ve even got the Colours in the same order as the seating.
i was racking my brains as the colours reminded me of something but i couldn't place it.
thought it was an old tv show or a chocolate biscuit from the 70s :)

Is it not a throw back to the old coloured seats at Ibrox ?
I was Govan Red first ST then moved to Govan brown
I weirdly like that concept
minus the socks right enough
Well at least that explains the choose of colours.
still fucking awful

That’s all fine and well when he needs 5-6 chances to finish 1. We won’t and don’t get that luxury against them and some of our away fixtures.
He might be a 1 in 2 or 3 game striker but the chances he needs to be that are the biggest issue
Dessers has a shot conversion rate of 20.7% in the SPFL. Shankland is sitting at 24.1% this season. Morelos shot conversion rate in his final season was 15.8%
So for every 33 shots, Shankland will most likely score 1 more goal than Dessers.
Dessers' shot conversion isn't really the issue. Its the glaring opportunities he totally fucks up. To a degree, these howlers are offset by the ones he scores that nobody expects, but the almighty cock ups leave the lasting impression of him being a complete diddy.
I've fought his corner time and time again but he is a VERY frustrating player and does lack a strikers instinct when he has time to think.
We do need better up front.

he's a great player when fit.
put the ball in his court and see if he backs himself by offering him 2 options:
sign a pay as you play one year deal or sign elsewhere.

It certainly is.

Really dont think we got fucked out at all - think the players can be proud of last night despite not progressing
Fucked out, knocked out. Same difference. Its just a turn of phrase.
Never once said the players shouldn't be proud of their efforts.
We did however hand Benfica 2 goals on a plate. In that regards, we fucked it. Hence my use of 'fucked out of the competition'.

I’d class Nottingham forest as a diddy club who had a successful period i their history, benfica are fighting for trophies every single season.
Sorry I can’t really be fucked replying to anything else you ask
Aye, competing every single season domestically.
Rangers and celtic fight for trophies every single season. Does that make both European giants (which is what the OP claimed Benfica are)? Nope it does not.
We've both won European trophies but, at best, we could be described as FORMER European giants.
35 minutes ago, beararse said:“Former” you know what you were doing ya fucking crank
Benfica last won a European trophy 62 years ago. Since the turn of the century have they reached 2 Europa League finals. So have Rangers.
So, how am i a 'fucking crank' by saying FORMER?
And since you 'cant be fucked' replying to explain how i'm 'pathetic' and 'tragic' I'll assume you agree that 1. The 'best' outcome is not to get fucked out a competition (or 'knocked out' if 'fucked out' is too strong a phrase for your liking), and 2. We gifted Benfica their goals.

“Former” you know what you were doing ya fucking crank. They spend and make millions each year selling and buying their talent.
was a pathetic post from a silly wee man
So does the bottom half the EPL. Doesn’t make any of them European giants. Would you class Forest as Euro giants or FORMER Euro giants?
I also notice you never responded to the other parts of my reply so I’ll ask again.
Was getting knocked out the ‘best outcome’ and did we gift them their goals?

Read the fucking post. It’s not a dig at the team. It’s a dig at the OP.
And referring to Benfica as a former giant doesn’t ignore the fact they have spent 100 million on a squad. So have the entire bottom half of the EPL. Spending money doesn’t make them European giants. Winning European trophies does. Would you consider Nottingham Forest a European giant if we faced them In the EL?
Rather than calling people bell ends and questioning their support perhaps you should refrain from fan boy reactions and consider the context comments are actually made.

what a pathetic wee man you are. That’s one of the most pathetic digs I’ve ever seen at our team tbh
tragic bastard
Wind yer fucking neck in.
Explain how it’s pathetic’ and ‘tragic’ and a dig at the team?
It’s a statement of fact and, if you actually bother to consider the context of the post, is a response to the OP saying us getting knocked out was the ‘best outcome’.
The ‘best’ outcome was not getting knocked out the competition.
AND we had a major hand in all 3 of their goals.
Unless of course you believe the best outcome was getting knocked out and that we didn’t gift them goals.

Said this earlier, I think it was intelligent of Benfica to not go toe to toe with us and essentially played our own game against us by allowing us a lot of the ball, sitting back and not giving us much to shout about then taking their moments when they came. We looked pretty devoid of ideas and I think a lot of that was down to the game being totally different to what we expected
This
I also think the Benfica players blindsided us by NOT diving, play acting, trying to get players booked and time wasting.
In the main, they played the game in the correct spirit which was the polar opposite of the away leg where they dived like fuck and looked to pressure the ref at every turn.A combination of their tactics and unexpected game management left us unsure how best to handle things and caught us off guard which is ultimately down to the quality of squad. Better players can adapt at the higher level.
We simply struggled all evening.
-
We can point to suicidal defending, injuries, nativity and quality of the opposition for losing that game last night but ultimately the game hinged on poor referring in the first leg.
It was never a penalty and that decision driven by VAR officials is galling.
It would be easier to accept the call had it been made in real time and without the aid of multiple slow mo replays but it so obviously came off Souttar head before striking his arm.
Credit where it’s due tho, I thought the ref last night was fantastic.
Refreshing to see a referee who let the game flow.
-
The ‘best’ outcome would have been not getting fucked out of Europe by a (former) giant having gifted them two of their three goals that knocked us out.

Silva’s been utter shite this half

Some of his movement off the ball last night was exceptional, especially late on in the 2nd half.

He’s very composed and calm on the ball. Him and Yilmaz (plus Butland, obviously) were the standouts last night.

Ah, well in that case Tav’ll need to place till he’s 40 😀
reread my Google search on koeman and i never noticed it was 182 league goals. Hence my misplaced optimism 😀
