Rattling my brain to find something that rhymes with 'Yilmaz". So far am down to "jazz" and "tazz" which sounds like a bit of a minging as fuck song.

    There’s only one Ridvan Yilmaz

He’s Orange and blue, Like the mineral Topaz.

He’s not very tall, But is good on the ball

    Walking in a Ridvan wonderland.

    🤣

He’s said “back soon” he’s not said he’s in the team for any game. Clement will sit at a press conference and give as much info as “back soon” when asked about him

Having a moan over fuck all

    That’s rich 🤣

As for Clement saying the same, he’s the manager, that’s his job and I’d expect any updates on a player returning to come from him. We don’t need a player (who we all know absolutely loves himself) posting cryptic shite hinting at his imminent return.

Not only that, he’s posted a video of himself playing whilst he proclaims a return is on the cards.

    It’s cringey as fuck.

Glad he’s on the way back but is there any need for this attention seeking social media shite?

Cannae imagine Clement will be too chuffed that he’s just announced to the world that he’s ‘back soon’.

I would have thought the manager would prefer to spring a selection surprise on his opponents, be it Benfica or Hibs (if ‘soon’ is ‘now’)

Never underestimate how good a player souness was, an absolute monster on the pitch, will never forgot his debut at hibs when he let Scottish football know nobody would be fucking with him. Loved him as a player, loved him lifting us out the doldrums and pushing us to our first title in nearly a decade. The level of player he attracted to the club was unbelievable, a host of English internationals, obviously helped with the ban on English teams in Europe. I was only a boy but fucking loved him. That changed when he left for Liverpool thinking he had jumped ship in the title run in felt betrayed, I hated him for a spell after that. Turns out he had informed Murray he would be leaving at the end of the season to join Liverpool at the end of what would be a successful period in charge ending in another title win, apparently it was Murray who told him to leave immediately and appointed Walter Smith, the rest is history.

I’m over souness leaving us now he left us in a great place and kick started our run to 9iar   I look back with some great memories from his time here, anything after I  dont give a fuck about, think some people don’t really appreciate what he did for this club, maybe too young at the time, fuck knows.

Some man, will be a great night seeing him along side the next man to rejuvenate our club and push us on to a sustained period of success.

    Souness / Clement 💙

    Absolutely fucking loved Souness.
Feel the exact same away about Clement.

They were/are the exact appointments needed at the exact time.

You wouldn’t want to mess with either of them.

True, which is why about 90% of them are not professional

Statistically Haaland missed 66% of his shots in the EPL in his record breaking season. Like I said, few strikers (professional) don’t miss 7 out of 10.

  6. He seems to cause havoc whenever he comes on as a sub these days. can change the tempo of the game.

No secret I've liked him from the get go but he really does need to practice 'one touch and shoot' when he's bearing in on goal. If he can bring that to his game he can be a huge asset.

He's at his worst when he has time to think.

i legit can't see us getting 3 points tonight, the damage was done before the ball was even kicked, changing the team that demolished hearts at the weekend is just plain fucking stupid aye fair enough if injuries is involved but when you're trying to with the championship, you shouldn't be chopping or changing anything

if it ain't broke don't try to fix it

    This.

Imagine judging a player and seeing what he can do after a proper run of games rather than immediately slating him after seeing him play for 20 mins here and there.

Been excellent since cementing his place in the team

    ‘Clementing’ 😜

7 in his last 8 I think. Half of those games would have been as a sub.

This. He’s scored 13 goals in just under 1300mins since Clement’s been manager. A goal every 99 mins!

if he keeps that up he’d be the most lethal striker we’ve ever had (and by quite a distance) which is bizarre given he has made a complete arse of quite a few guilt edged chances.

Never seems to bother him tho’. Like McCoist and every other decent striker he gets straight back on the horse.
