Liam Kelly has been brilliant for Livi but is also no longer a Rangers player as they signed him in the summer. 
There is no chance he would go from winning plaudits week in week out to sitting on the bench!

I think the level you played at is paramount! 
If your playing a junior league getting a few quid a game you're not going to care as long as you play, but as a professional player of course you going to listen to the senior members of the squad. To say that guys like Murphy and Wallace being there wont add to the dynamic of the squad is naive in my opinion, I know for a fact that Halliday has been speaking to Wallace asking for advice on playing LB, and you're right Grezda might not lean on Murphy but he does/will e will lean on Candeais and and Middleton has already commented on how he has learnt a lot from guys like Murphy and Arfield.
I dont really see how anyone can argue that it benefits Rangers more to have a youth player travelling, taking them away from their own matches to effectively watch a game, as opposed to having the more senior players in the squad attend to be honest.
 

That’s probably more down to you’re attitude than them being there not being a good idea tbf Cushy. 

More bothered about the game on Thursday, hopefully him and Morelos having a rest will do wonders for the Thursday night game.

I dont agree with that.
He regularly makes runs in behind and looks like link up with Morelos/Lafferty, we had noone do that tonight, it was simply looking to cross it as our central midfielders/attacking midfielders, either sat at the half way line passing it from side to side, or stayed out wide trying to cross it!
We really missed someone in the hole tonight, that would carry the ball to the defenders, something that he has done really well in recent weeks in my opinion.

Futile chat but I agree, he’d have exploited the space when we were a man up. Not a doubt about it for me. I’m not sure why we didn’t appeal to have him available tbh.

It’s not just Aberdeen, we still struggle to beat any team that sits in against us as we lack a bit of quality and composure in the attacking third.  In some ways we are even less potent than last season due to the loss of Murphy.

I dont even know if it is exclusively McInnes...I am sure Livingstone done it first...
Sit deep, double up on the wings, especially on Tav and Candeais and we really struggle.
We never look to drive at opposition players in the middle of the pitch, we were so predictable tonight it was painful!

Unfair to blame Tav. If Terry Butcher was the captain in the teams Tav has played in his record would be equally shit.

Greg Doherty was a stand out in a very poor Hamilton team, scoring goals and providing assists against the teams we play week in week out. He was brilliant for Accies and had a good few games for us before being dropped but I dont understand why so many have written him off?
It seems like the longer a player is injured the better they get but send them on loan or sell them and they were awful...
In my opinion Doherty is a better player than some we have at the moment and as has been suggested before, if Halliday can turn it round, then there is hope for everyone, especially Doherty, who wasn't exactly hounded out like Andy was.
