More bothered about the game on Thursday, hopefully him and Morelos having a rest will do wonders for the Thursday night game.

We need everyone to be on their game on Thursday night, we desperately need the 3 points from this game as an extended European run will do us the world of good.

His absence from the team should help open some folks eyes as to how important he is for us. Obviously we should have had enough to beat Dundee and Aberdeen anyway, but often see Arfield criticised for not doing enough or impacting the game - I think his movement and link play is crucial to us being a successful attacking unit.

He makes our midfield work.. He isnt the flashiest player in the World, but he makes US work... and when we work, we can beat all teams in this country and match big European teams as well.

Arfield is the template of the players we should be targeting, a guy who has played at a high level with a good few years ahead of him.

Buying  cheap untried young players with potential hoping they will turn out top players with a big sell on fee is a great idea but unrealistic, now is the time for our scouts to earn their corn and get some quality in.

Just watched highlights of Watford v Cardiff on Match of the Day.

Watford player slides into the keeper from a similar distance and makes contact with keeper’s body.

Ref gives a free kick and no card.

Pundits say player is entitled to challenge, and at the very worst it may be a Yellow.

Compare to Arfield?

Yeh mate noticed that too. No matter what the snowflakes say we are definitely refereed to a different standard.

Or should I say the rules are applied very strictly to us and not to other teams. Especially now they have rethought their strategy and are giving one soft yellow and waiting for the opportunity to apply the second yellow instead of an undeserved red so we can’t appeal.

Whoops paranoid proddy here. 😉😉😉
