although both are fairly shit, the difference with some pace from Matondo and Sima is night and day, we should never have got rid of Sakala.

I'd love nothing more than them to end up with some nobody like we did with Pedro, but its not about wanting anything, we cant control it, we shouldnt even give a shit, its about what we do from now on, they could end up with Lennon again but if we dont do our business well and hit the ground running it wont matter. Lets just put this to bed by saying I agree with you that I want the worst for them in everything they do but I wont lose sleep on who they get in.

so because I gave my opinion, and stated its only my opinion that means I'm lying?
you basically just showed that in only 1 season at Liverpool he managed to get them close to winning a league which given the funds available to Liverpool they shouldve been doing but apart from that it was more of the same for them, then again your basically showing that he had 1 good season at Leicester where he won the FA cup and managed to keep them in the same position before the decline set in. Look I dont give a shit if you or anyone else is scared if Rodgers becomes their manager, I dont care if its him, McKenna, Moresca or popcorn teeth, all I care about is we get a jump on them by recruiting well and getting a head start while their in transition/destabilised but in my opinion Rodgers is not a good manager and again thats only my opinion.

relegated
I dunno but that tells me that things went downhill under his charge, he had a couple good years with an FA cup win and then downhill to the point he needed sacked and they couldnt recover, and nobody is telling me that even with mininal investment that team on paper shouldve been relegated, they still have some very good players at the club, and when teams like Wolves, Bournemouth and Notts forest come above you thats got to be down to how they have been managed hence his sacking.
anyhoo who gives a monkeys who they get as manager, it should be about what we do, they will be unsettled no matter who comes into them. -

Don;t understand this attitude at all, every single one of us should be hoping for the worst appointment possible.
He basically just got Leicester relegated, he took over a decent team and year on year made it worse, failed at Liverpool, got a free ride at Celtic and spent a fortune, the only club he really did anything with is Swansea and thats a good few years ago now, so I dunno where this good manager comes from, in my opinion obviously, everyone see's different.

I dont care who it is, bring on Rodgers, he had no challenge last time, I've more faith in Beale against him than I ever did with Pedro or Murty.

Made a transfer profit, 2 CL qualifications and one uefa cup group qualification, 7 domestic honours in 3.5 years including 2 leagues, and first scottish team to get out the CL groups
All the while, like you said, with his hands tied
And the best part was he did it with the grace, dignity and character you would expect from a Rangers manager, even when he knew it was his last season he still gave it all for us
This video of him is class
thats brilliant, could listen to him all day talk about this, was one of the best days of my life and I'll never forget it.
saw big Marv in Asda the other week, still a big guy and still wandering around with a huge smile on his face, KEEP BELIEVING!!

Maybe just hold the schadenfreude til we’re actually lifting silverware again, as somebody else pointed out they’ve got a strong record of getting their appointments right
If we don’t fix ourselves from last season then it’ll mean fuck all
I dont see any strong record, hes the only one they've got right in decades, look back to barnes, dalgliesh, venglos, deila, mowbray, i dont count lennon, rodgers as that was in a time were we were rock bottom, the last manager before postecoglou to stop us when we had a decent team was wim jansen.
edit: forgot about that wank o'neill -

I really like Souttar, quick, strong, not afraid to stick his body on the line for a block, can play a bit too and organizes well, future captain for me if he stays fit long term.

Big John is quickly becoming one of my favourite players, good old fashioned centre back, keep it up big man.

sunday morning, middle of winter, ash parks, mitre mouldmaster, folk dont know the meaning of the word pain these days

we get into this mobs faces and play at a decent tempo and we win, its simple as that, it was like that from when Gerard took over, we let it slip with Gio's infuriating style of play, now Beale has the right idea just doesnt have the players he nees to implement it, I have no doubts once he builds his own team we will be back to scudding them regularly.

I want 5. I want them going in to next season with the thought in their heads that the last time we played them we absolutely battered them.

I don’t even think it’s a guy that’s got that tattoo. Imagine pulling a burd then finding that when you got her up the road.
about 25 year back I was in Kilsyth for a night out, had broken my ankle so had a stookie on which seemed to attract the local shielas, got so steamin I canny mind leaving the place but I woke up in some fat munters bed still fully clothed, even had my trainers and jacket still on, first thing that I saw when I opened my eyes was a full size cardboard cut out of Pierre van Hooijdonk, looked around and there was framed pics of Billy McNeill and allsorts of raging catholic paraphernalia, knew there and then I had to exit stage left fast but with a broken ankle and on crutches that wasnt easy, had the pure fear when I went for the front door and shes sitting in the kitchen all like "you were in some state last night", made my excuses and fucked off thanking my lucky stars nothing happened (I hope).
