I'm livid at the inevitable added scoreboard pressure on Sunday now, and the added tension for the squad and management that yet another re-arranged fixture on that shit pitch.
This couldn't have fallen any better for the bheasts.

It's hard not to think like that.

Likely 4 points behind, fixture congestion, an advantage to Hearts for the semi... this has shades of 2008 written all over it. The SPFL and Doncaster stiffing Rangers again.

It all comes back to the sheer lack of professionalism at the highest levels in our game here. Plastic pitches that are shite, other pitches that are like tattie fields, etc. just make us a laughing stock to those looking in. No wonder Women’s football will end up with more TV money than us. 
Our pitch hasn’t always been great but despite cashflow constraints, we’ve addressed it at a cost that could have been invested in players, unlike some clubs. 
Until the governing bodies look at improving the product, it’ll be more of the same for years to come. 

I believe you have that all spot on.

The fact the SPFL haven’t entertained any other suggestion is galling. An organisation who only looks to serve one club. 
 
We all know why they want us to play on that bog instead of an immaculate park across the road. The decision should clearly be out of Dundee’s hands, you’re talking almost a third of their home games being postponed this season. 

So the plan is same time next week and hope for better weather aye ?

A complete failure of leadership from the SPL and Dundee. 

There’s been a good chance this game wouldn’t go ahead for days now and there’s been zero contingency planning. 
No agreement to move the game either to Ibrox or, say, THE FUCKING STADIUM ACROSS THE ROAD WITH THE PERFECT PITCH. 
No consideration of fans, tv viewers or the perception of the league. 
 
No thought of the continued havoc being played with the schedule. 
 
Just a cavalier “ach, there’s always next week” attitude from their Chief Exec. 
 
Dundee can’t fulfill the fixture. Award us a 3-0 win, fine them into oblivion and put in place meaningful deterrents for teams that can’t provide basic facilities. 

Rearranged fixture can't be played at their ground. No guarantee it'll be on. 

Should be heavily fined and shouldn’t be allowed another home game this season.
