  1. With no Jack, I'm interested to see how he deploys the midfield. I reckon if we go back to a flat 4 we could be picked off like Hamilton. Then Murty till the end of the year will look daunting.
  2. Only interested in Alves and Dorrans tbh. Glad to see both nearing returns.
  3. I know that Si Ferry played with them, but I do enjoy those open goal interviews. Expect a Kenny Miller one could be immenient.
  4. Na McInnes is gonna sign Maldini.
  5. No thanks. He was outstanding on Sunday until the red card. That's where he will stay. Also think Tavernier has come on leaps and bounds at right back.
  6. Always been a fan of Wallace but can't see way back into the side. John is better, still would prefer Papac though.
  7. We've a cheek to criticise McInnes results in Europe after Progres disaster.
  8. Absolutely bang on. He's the most sensible decision we've made in a while. He will bring consistency at the very least. Will he win us the title? Jury is out. Will he bridge some of the gap? Personally I think he will. He needs backed by the board and I believe he will make sensible transfers with that money. We won't be in this position this time next season I firmly believe that. When Caixinha was appointed I was adamant we would be where we are now.
  9. If this is to be his last game incharge I hope the boys do him proud. May not be capable for the top job but a terrific guy to have at the club.
  10. I agree to an extent but winning the big games with Aberdeen is a harder task than it would be with us because we have a bigger budget and pull to attract players who can win the big games. He should be capable to continue his ability to beat the rest and hopefully have better resources to start winning the big games.
  11. Foreigners with no British or Scottish football experience, which King said today. Rules MPH out.
  12. Would prefer Dorrans in there with Jack and McCrorie than Holt tbh.
  13. No it didn't. What about when they beat us twice last season? What if they beat us on Sunday? Will that make him good enough? Fact of the matter is this, if he was to become manager what he done at Aberdeen will have absolutely no influence on what he does here especially in the big game. Different set of players, different expectations, different financial budgets.
  14. We can't go with a 2 man midfield against the likes of celtic, Aberdeen and Hibs so I'd like us to get 3 in there. If we had a manager with some defensive know how I think we could go with the 4 at the back and be ok. Morelos upfront is a must but we don't have anyone of note worth partnering him with so I'd go with something along the lines of ; Foderingham Taverner Alves McCrorie John Candieas Dorrans Jack Holt Windass Morelos
  15. Id be surprised if we got more than a point from the two games.
  16. The board have made investments into the squad, enough so that we should at the very least be comfortably the 2nd best team in the country and at the very least closing the gap towards celtic, if not challenging them just yet. With the money we've spent and the wages we pay, that should be what is expected. However all of their decisions in the way that money has been spent, and who they've entrusted with spending their money has been the wrong person for the job and that blame lies firmly at their doorstep. Now we are in a position where, do they again fork out to have a new manager spend a similar amount to try close the gap? I would suggest our wage bill is now higher this season than it was last season so do we increase it even more, subsequently adding to our already rising debt level? They are now in a catch 22 situation and it's all created by themselves and the incompetent people they employed. This board don't deserve another 'three year plan'. They've blown their chance and it's now time to find new owners with more intelligence and competence than these idiots.
  17. Agree with all that and I'm sure it's the same thinking of all the well minded Rangers fans.
  18. Correct. Seen him a few times now, albeit he doesn't get too much playing time, but good young players ones with something about do something once or twice that get you off your seat, a bit skill a turn and shot, even taking the ball in holding the defender off and giving it back out wide. Just something to show the fans what your all about. Hardie has done absolutely fuck all everytime he has come on.
  19. A reaction at least from the board. Some pressure on them. Media coverage that the fans are not happy with them. At current I still get the impression that the general perception is that this board can do no wrong because they 'saved' us from Ashley. Too many people who are high up in supporters clubs and shareholders who are in the pocket of the board, all yes men. I want change. Most fans, who normally don't have a voice want change a protest is their chance to voice their displeasure at the current job being done. How do you dislodge a board? When do they accept they're not doing an adequate job and it's time to step aside? Do fans just continue to turn up, clap their hands and go home after the game? How bad do things have to get before something is done? Anyone with half a brain can see this isn't working. Why let it get any worse?
  20. For me he much better than Holt. Each to their own opinion, but Holt flatters to deceive. Alot of running, but doesn't do much creatively, doesn't score many and Jack is far better defensively. Jack better on the ball, stronger. We've missed Dorrans calming influence, and I don't think we help the likes of Jack playing with a 2 in the middle when most teams play with 3 midfielders. Like I say, my opinion, I don't pick the team although I reckon I could do a better job than at current.
  21. There's no six clubs better than us. celtic, Aberdeen and Hibs are better than us and I reckon we'll be touch and go with Hibs for 4th. Motherwell and St Johnstone are you next best teams. I'd say we're comfortably better than St Johnstone. Motherwell over the course I don't think wont have enough to finish above us. Especially if Moults goes in January or has an injury. Hearts and the rest are pish.
  22. I like Jack. One of our better players. In comparison to what we've had in the past, not even the likes of Gascoigne, Souness or Ferguson he's still no where near the likes of Davis, Mendes or Thomson. I do think if we get out of this, under a new management/board he will be one of the few players who will survive from this period.
  23. Agree with this. A good manager can make us hard to beat, get more out of certain players. However a new board is needed before we can think of challenging again.
  24. Probably not. Then again we'll probably take 4/6 points and the board will be back in the good books, they'll appoint a stop gap manager which will paper the cracks and see us through to the end of the season with half decent results. Then cracks will eventually show and we'll more than likely be having the same discussion this time next year.
