It’s the same every time. It shouldn’t need to manager to have to motivate players and remind them to play at tempo. The players lack desire time after time. We should be playing like our lives depend on it to win this title and we look totally indifferent to it. Too many lack the mentality to play for us. We are specialists at being also rans.

That was absolute garbage, no idea why we keep thinking it will change its always the same story. Some of these players, I honestly cant fathom how they think.

We are a bunch of fucking pussies with zero desire, snails pace pish and every team we play against are playing at a faster tempo, getting wired in and shite like Gogic look like fucking Pirlo. 

Because we had a DoF who signed absolute shite, and then brought in a manager who compounded that by signing even more absolute shite and not getting rid of the absolute shite he inherited.
In short, our squad is just shite.

He’s not really said anything there that older staff in every workplace feel. 
 
We’ve got a generation of kids now who are growing up with everything at their fingertips on their phone. Even for people my age (early 30s), I can still distinctly remember times where mobiles didn’t exist and the internet had big limitations. 
 
Kids nowadays drink less, want to travel more, prioritise festivals over nightclubs etc. They don’t want to work in offices, the good ones can work remotely from anywhere in the world, are more likely to freelance or have side businesses etc. 
 
I manage a sales team and honestly find it difficult to connect with the under 25s that are occasionally hired in, so it’s no surprise footballers feel the same. The club should make the “leadership team” do courses to make them feel at ease, it would benefit all parties.
