Lundstrum can go in the summer, Diomande playing the one two and moving into good space and Lundstrum passes it back to the CB.

I saw that too, Diomande was clearly frustrated with it. That’s the thing that infuriated me with Lundstram, it’s always back to a defender or just straight back to whoever gave him the ball. Diomande would be a better player without Lundstram beside him.

    Nope.....

    Roofe:

    4,662mins played,  38 goals scored = goal every 122.7mins

    Dessers:

2,009 mins played, 12 goals scored = goal every 167.4mins

So nowhere near 'almost double'. If that were the case Dessers would only be scoring every 245.4mins

Speaking of doubles, Roofe has been here for 3.5 years. Dessers 6 months and is only a couple of games away from already playing half the amount of minutes we’ve got out of Roofe 😩

  3. I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned already, but Tavernier appeared to pull up Cantwell just before the goal as Cantwell had, from my amateur lip-reading, done something twice. My take at the time was he’d given the ball away from senseless dribbling and flicks. He then a few minutes later lost the ball again and we were 1-0 down.

  4. Firstly, having lost 2 grandparents to covid in the last year, I wish all the staff and players a speedy recovery.

We still have enough quality in the squad to see this game through. McGregor will be a big loss, but a chance for McCrorie to show he is the future number 1. Tav and Kent have been off form this season so it’s a chance for others to stake their claim in the team without Gerrard having to be seen to ‘drop’ them. I feel for Bassey as he was doing exactly that.

This might be a catalyst to galvanise the players and get the battle fever on and turn our start to the season around. Let’s go!!

  5. I have a feeling that we are using this situation to highlight just how poor the governance and commercial side of the spfl is.
Part of me expects that this will continue for another week or so and we will ‘back down’ stating we are doing so for the good of the game, however we will have highlighted enough flaws to have others asking serious questions, such as Robertson highlighting we could have employed a commercial director for less than the 500k agency fee for this single deal.

It's his temperament that sets him apart from other strikers. It's what makes defenders want to try their sly tactics to get him sent off, because they know they'll be ran ragged.

Not comparing him to Suarez in terms of ability, but they are similar on the pitch in regards to temperament.

After the first bite people probably told Suarez to calm down and screw the nut, but did he? Nope went and bit two other cunts and got his big move.

Well played, that made me laugh out loud ?
