Good chance that this may happen to several players as this game at the Piggery tonight is developing in to the definition of a grudge match. With Atletico honouring their 1974 team with the replica kit and bringing along a couple of players from it, combined with FC, continuing to rage and greet 50 years after the fact, things were already set up nicely. Now I am hearing that Brentan has been bumping his gums about settling scores and running up a few goals tonight, going for a big win no less. I am sure that Simeone will have taken note. Obviously there is a chance that that Mhob might get a result tonight, but hopefully a fired up Atletico can rattle a few in and then concentrate on truly honouring the surviving members of the team of 74 in a style they will appreciate.

Every time I think of Walter I get sad then I remember the wonderful things he did for our club and then that goes away to be replaced by 9 in a row, his return all just wonderful memories of an almost grandfather figure to most of my generation. 

Still remember when I found out the news I held it together then when the kids and my partner left the house I just couldn't stop crying.
The only person I never knew I have cried over. I never knew him but I felt like he was a family member it was strange. He was Mr Rangers. Love you Walter and you and the other lads above.

Saw Robert Jenrick the UK Immigration Minister was on the TV this morning.
He stated "It's very important to me and the Home Secretary that people who spread hate or support prosribed terrorist organisations like hamas have no place in this country"

Would be a nice to cap off the weekend with Them dropping points but given their recent record there and the fact that the Hearts defence could not keep a cat out of a close, I will not be holding my breath. What will be interesting though will be seeing how the Goon Brigade manage to shame themseves yet again. All in all vastly improved performance and we look like a team that will fight for each other again and I was impressed by the attitude of everyone out there.
Special mention to Dessers for his well taken goal, Cantwell for being a baller and to the sitters in midfield for battling and winning their battles.

I actually thought Raskin deserved it but I would have had no complaints if Sima had got it. Many things good today but one of the main things for me was Clement coaching from the side of the park and showing some passion instead of just standing there like a clueless idiot.  It was great walking back to the car feeling that we actually deserved to win and saying the score flattered THEM!! More recently it’s been scraping wins and saying the score flattered us. Long may it continue.
