Was a moment of genius. Moment of the day?
An excellent addition to our squad and he will definitely contribute next year imo.
Let's finish on 81 points Rangers!

Was worried after the first few games, but in this spell he has been terrific. Our midfield were in total control.
-
If he goes elsewhere then he will go with his head held high. A good goalkeeper and one of Warburtons better signings.
Deserves to be a no1 somewhere imo. Many teams in the English championship could do worse.

Ronald De Boer was the only candidate that came to mind for me. A world class player, who we probably got due to injury.
Ability wise easy to see why he played for Barcelona.
We've made a number of big signings that have or haven't worked out... Names that stand out...
Numan
F De Boer
Caniggia
Kanchelskis
Mendes
Rothen
Capucho
Guivarach
Prso
Boumsong
Alves
Defoe
These all jump to mind as players I was thinking 'thats a big signing' at the time.
I'd love to say I get excited by big names, but actually I'm probably more nervous about them.
Ronald De Boer is probably the most excited I've been as I was confident he'd be class and thankfully, most of the time he delivered

Said it from the get go, when he plays for us (and has a decent game) we are much more solid defensively.
Biggest problem I have is when he plays poorly, then he's like a man down.
Since he's come back in he's been solid and we've looked much better defensively. For me he should practice crossing with his left foot as if he could do that then he'd be a much better shout for lb.
If you could combine the best attributes of him and barisic, we'd have some player.

Some belters in there. Great video. Thinking of some crackers that haven't made. Thinking Boyd scored a couple of peaches. Bougherra from his own box. Amoruso with a few long range efforts. Adam free kick under the wall. Ricksen free kicks. Few Tav crackers. Lewis Macleod overhead...
Sure there are many others.

Stuart McCall.
Alex Clelland.
We loaned them Durrant.
We borrowed Thomas Myhre.
There are probably more...
Kanchelskis, Jeffers, ball, arteta, gough, Weir, naismith, simonsen, jelavic, gray, Spencer, beattie...
And I'm also sure there are more!

We still need 7 players imo
Gk we have loads
RB happy with Tav, polster and Flanagan
CB goldson and katic - need 2 more
Lb need an upgrade on Barisic, keep halliday as backup
Cm jack, arfield, kamara and mccrorie fine as options. Think we need 2 quality players in that area. Dorrans, rossiter, Davis, docherty, holt and coulibaly are not it for me, backup quality at best for most... Only Davis and Dorrans have the quality and they look past their best.(side note I thought Davis was our best player yesterday)
RW need a quality right winger, keep candeias as an option
LW looking at Jones, Murphy, Grezda, Kent and middleton, it looks ok but not great. Kent has been phenomenal at times this season, but he's young and is still learning. Not a huge Jones fan. Murphy has done ok, not great. Grezda has been poor. Middleton doesn't look ready but if he has a good preseason could kick on.
Striker Morelos (if he stays) Defoe and Lafferty are all have different styles, I feel if Morelos got injured we'd struggle so need a decent signing there.
Mark Allen and Gerrard have a lot of work to do

No brainer for me..........
Graeme Souness
Can see where you are coming from... But he wouldn't last 10 mins in a modern game of football. Red cards galore

Might actually just kill myself if that’s how our summer transfer business goes.
Signing Kent - surely everyone wants that?
Cosgrove, has imo carried the sheep at points this year. I do however agree he's nowhere near Morelos and never will be. At 22 years old, he'd be a better option than Lafferty imo and brings a bit of height and a physical option from the bench.
We'd for sure need another striker, preferably from abroad - as we seem to have joy from there. A decent calibre striker with energy who scores goals.
I don't believe we can truly replace Alfredo, that's how highly I rate him. One player would cost too much and that's why I think we need a couple. I don't think we could get someone who creates their own chances, bullies defenders, is aggressive on the ground and in the air and scores goals...
-
Hopefully the money we bring in signs us Ryan Kent.
The real question is who replaced him
We've had a bit of success signing strikers from abroad.. so I'm thinking stick to that plan. Think we need a couple of decent options to replace Morelos.
If we were looking domestically.. dare I say it... Sam cosgrove. Just turned 22, not a direct replacement for Morelos, but a completely different option. 17 goals so far this season. Would also be a great up yours to them.
Mcinnes would ask for silly money so it won't happen anyway.

Actually don't understand the timing of this, think big worrall has been great the last few games

I google rob kiernan every now and then, and its quite funny to see that he still hasn't advanced from that 1 appearance he made for Southend nearly 2 years ago haha
On the bench today 🙄😮🤢

All the talk was about Gasparotto but Halkett was the one we should’ve brought through.
I remember halkett being talked up as well to be fair. We have no idea how halkett would have done if he was chucked in at Ibrox, might have turned him into Ross Perry.
I'd take him back now though 👍
The worst deal for us CB wise has to be bates.

Genuinely mean this, I can't think of anyone's soundbytes less. There are a lot of former players I dislike.
There are lots of opposition players I dislike, but interview wise, it can be interesting to hear their take on things and these interviews tend to have good banter and are insightful.
Mark Warburtons interviews are the least insightful I've ever seen. If he doesn't say phrases along the lines of
* Rossiter will be back in 7-10 days
* The result is disappointing, but listen credit to Hamilton, we'll train hard and come back stronger against blah
* Rob Kieran is destined for the (English) premier league
I'll be shocked.

While he was here I liked him. He brought the fans together and gave us some exciting results. He signed some decent players at a low cost and tried to play attacking football
However
I haven't missed him since he's left. I believe if he'd have stayed on we'd have finished second that year, but he was never the long term choice.
Has some decent qualities and I can see how he'd do well at a smaller team with lower expectations. (No disrespect to Brentford intended) When he's joined bigger clubs in us and Nottingham Forest, he's been found out as he can't deliver what's expected
Also - I love open goal, I think si ferry is doing a great job, I've seen most interviews, even some from players of other clubs... But having seen many Mark Warburton press conferences, I'm not sure I'll learn anything new.

I'm not even bothered about mcinnes, it tells me a lot about the character in our dressing room, which is clearly great.
We need to keep this momentum up.

Really? They must have updated the match highlights as there was nothing on the Morelos incident when I looked earlier. Or is it in that separate piece they did on the penalties perhaps? I didn't view that as I expected it to be a whine-fest ...
Aye mate desperate piece, it came up on the app anyway 👍 was only posted a couple of hours ago.

Harsh penalty, but he's a dud. Actually think both Killie fullbacks look decent. Certainly think Taylor would be better than our lbs.
