Mental how people think we can sell players valued at maybe 10 million plus then instantly replace them with players of similar level for half the fee, what we can do is bring players in of a lower quality and develop them but that takes time as it did with players like Kamara and Aribo. January during arguably the most important season in recent history with CL group stages and the financial rewards that brings is not the time to be weakening our team, selling Aribo Kamara Hagi Barasic all during one window would be gross misconduct from our board and more than likely cost us the title. It’s real life football not fucking FM

10 good seasons in the SPFL wouldn't see him go for that.

At the minute It's a no brainer mate, especially this season.
He would have spent most of it on the bench, now Gio will have some of the money to continue putting his own stamp on the team, where he wants, what he's identified. 
This season is massive, in the big picture it's much better to get players that'll play and get us to the CL, plus ease the bank balance.
So that's, even if it's only 10ish, and Gerrard's fee will be about 15million in total. Should be able to do both, bank and buy, and stronger position if any other bids come in for anyone else.
