:lol:Aye, I definitely wouldn't know a thing about being objective while watching a game.

Cantwell ran his heart out but made a good few mistakes too - including almost getting sent off and  giving away a dangerous free-kick on the edge of the area - but you're objective enough to know that too.

    If your auntie had baws...

I well aware he gave the ball away, but he is giving it away when trying to be productive further up the field....massive difference when you are struggling to find someone with a pass that isn't switched on to the possibility ie Sima & Dessers on occasions

    The fuck were you watching?

Go and watch it again, I'm objective enough to know that winning a couple of headers and tackles doesn't mean you had a good game

He generally hits the first man when trying to play up the line giving away possession, when he goes long he gives away possession, he stood miles off bakayoko all night and a couple of times he got tight he got skinned alive....I mentioned his weak header in the 90th minute at the edge of their box which sent them on the counter....again piss poor

Tav was shite and Goldson bailed him out all night, Raskin was poor also.....Cantwell ran his heart out and Sima couldn't control a ball wae a bag of cement, Matondo & Lundstram made good telling contributions to the game, PSV were decent in possession but rarely tested Butland

That was the game I watched.....Bornas game was littered with errors all night but in typical RM fashion he wasn't directly to blame for a goal so he was good....if Bakyoko had scored that one in the first half when he waltzed past Borna this place would have blew up with the criticism

He drove forward loads of times, was wide open a few times. Defended well throughout, made a couple of mistakes. If you don't like him, you don't like him. He's not my cup of tea but to make out he was awful is genuinely fucking stupid.

Fair enough....I guess we all see games differently, like the home game against Servette,  Barisic took pelters, I actually defended him that night as I thought he was unfairly criticised.....maybe tonight in my eyes his mistakes were over shadowing any good he was doing :tu:

    Absolute fucking bollocks.

OK enlighten me to Bornas pivotal role, winning a couple of tackles and headers does not make up for the amount of times he gives the ball away.....we had a corner in the 90th minute....Guess whose weak as piss header at the edge of their box left us wide open to the counter.....constantly gives the ball away when trying to play it up the park and stands off his man when trying to defend....we know why because when he does get tight he gets skinned culminating in the foul that brings out the booking....I constantly was moaning at his inability during the game....and Tav is just as bad for getting caught out of position

Some absolute nonsense gets spoken on here. I don't know what people see during games. Went in 1 up against a quality side, that most people thought would hump us. But still Sima, Dessers, Borna etc were all pish supposedly?

Where as the darlings of the side, who were way off the pace and were dominated by PSV - Raskin, Cifuntes and Jack all supposedly played well.

I think folk make up their minds how players played before tge game kicks off...

I actually agree with most of this but Borna was pish....no ifs or buts he is fucking done

  6. Some wild mental takes in here tonight

The obvious concerns are both full backs....lost count how many times Goldson covered for Tav & Souttar for Barisic.....in Barisics case he stood off bakayoko more often than not, going forward his attempts to play up the line are pathetic, either culminating in hitting the first player or generally launching it in no mans land...I'm sorry but he just doesn't have the minerals anymore

They looked decent in possession without terrifying me on the counter, Big Butland apart from his spill only had 2 or 3 routine efforts to deal with ou of their 19 attempts.....some people must believe that slicing the ball high and wide on numerous occasions constitutes us riding our luck

Positives are that we find ourselves in a similar position to last season so we are far from out of it, I also thought Lundstram looked the part and Rabbi is starting to look like redemption may actually be on the cards

We are far from out of this but the full backs give me the fear

If we sell him for 4 million, doesn't that make him a decent player and not 'average at best'?

I always saw the bold passage as an exaggerated myth that grew legs with time.

I agree his time is up and it is best for all parties if he leaves this week. I don't agree with the handling of it all.

Nah 4million doesn't get you much these days if we are been truthful.....yes their are still some nuggets out there but in the main it suggests average.....look at the way Lammers & Dessers are being perceived.....they are roughly 8million between them

Hagi doesn't think he is better, he knows he is!

He got a raw deal at Rangers and will go on to prove it.

    Time to sell and watch.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder!!!!

Hagi is average at best, he spends the majority of the game getting knocked off the ball and landing on his arse, yes he has ability to play a pass with both feet but the odd glimpse of class isn't enough anymore, for me his time is up, if we can move him on for 3/4 million then I think that would suit all parties in the long run

Lost 3 balls in one hole at Dundonald on Saturday. 40mph winds, impossible.

I'm trying to think what hole you could lose 3 balls at mate.....going with the way the wind normally blows down there I would imagine the 8th would have played as tough as fuck:lol:I played Girvan on Saturday.....fuck me, we were hitting drivers at par 3s and still not getting near the green

Another example of a player where people look for evidence to support their view and ignore any evidence to the contrary. He has done no better and no worse than Sima or Dessers yet the attitudes towards him are far more positive. I'd actually say Dessres, in very quick flashes, has shown more quality, but been denied by good saves etc.

Whereas Danilo gets a free pass for a miss that Van Vossen would struggle to replicate and doesn't even look an upgrade on Sakala so far.

He scored today, but Dessers set him up. Yet Danilo gets full credit and benefit of the doubt and Dessers gets dismissed.

What a pile of shite mate....van vossen got rolled in from 6yrds out for an open goal....how the fuck you even think that is comparable to the other night beggars belief....you are another crank who clearly knows fuck all about football

  11. We now have 3 players in Cantwell, Raskin & Cifuentes who are all capable of taking the ball a lot further forward up the park than our previous midfields, the problem I'm seeing is they are taking the ball into areas where it then ends up too congested with our forward players....their needs to be some level of balance....I'm not buying the we have completely stopped playing with width and we are to narrow when playing the diamond.....our goal comes from a cross from the left and Danilos sitter comes from a great ball from the right.....it just feels a bit up in the air at the moment as we try to figure out our strongest line up

Felt the groups were dead depressing last time tbf  don’t think many were excited at all

Aye tbf that group wasn't the best but by the time the sparta Prague game came round we knew qualification was in our hands and we started to get invested in it..... from then on Dortmund it was fucking tremendous

But nobody wanted pumped out by Malmo, or were happy to go into the EL, which is were the shite mentality stuff is coming from

I get that, and we know we will all be raging if we get beat from PSV.....guaranteed when the Europa League draw comes round everycunt will be waiting with baited breath for the draw....it's the nature of football....we need the money so it's champions league but I'm not having their is more prestige for our club with a zero point champions league campaign compared to a run to the Europa League final

  14. The champions league is only about the money.....that's the realistic nature of football these days.....no cunt is telling me that we had a shite mentality when rolling up on a Thursday night for that europa league campaign......compare that to the utter dejection of getting pumped in every game bar 45mins at home v Liverpool and 60 mins at home v Napoli

Those beatings last season totally knocked the confidence out that squad.....clearly it's champions league for monetary value but for football, like it or lump it we are for now a Europa League level team
