I agree with the composure point.

I was against the Mcauley signing but after watching Well game and yesterday i actually think his experience and leadership qualities are just what we need.

We miss that experience in our midfield tbh.

That is why I reckon a guy like Davis could make or break the second half of our season, his experience for the last few games would do the world of good.

The Albanian and probably Worrel but yesterday and last week Gerrard showed that he doesn’t have much faith in some of the squad players on bench.

Those two and Coulibaly will help a lot. I don't rate Dorrans or Wallace but they will manage against shite like Livingston to give a few guys a rest. McCrorie, Middleton, Halliday etc will do a job against the poor teams too, we just haven't had any games yet we were given that freedom other than St Mirren.

Ok sitting in but whoever thought that launching punts to Lafferty was the way to go got it wrong.

First of all, Lafferty isn’t the best in the air.

Secondly, Lustig is their weak link but he’d much rather defend punts than have someone running at him.

Maribor second half was the last time i seen us play the press.

Making Europa groups was a fantastic acheivement and vital financially for the club but the management team are going to have to decide what is the most important to them.

Europa league matches or League cup Semi/Hearts away etc.

As I said before, I don't think it was the sitting in that lost us the game. It was more the players having no composure, just fucking it up the field whenever the ball came near them. Whenever we got the ball down on the deck and played we done well but that was very rare. The good thing is with a few players coming back and new arrivals, we will have more rotation and play the pressing game more often.

They've beat celtic twice at home.

We haven't done that in years.

Well you can use that as an argument if we fail to beat them at home this season then, Hearts have struggled at that dump just as much as we have.

Under the circumstances it was always going to be a tough game. Managers first Old Firm, at a place we have always struggled even with the old allocation,  just back from an away game in Siberia with 9 men, played something 14/15 games before the first international break with a small squad that has been together for 2 months. We didn't go there and dominate them under Walter with a team of Internationalists, we certainly won't do it now never mind in those circumstances.

We are one of the easier games they play. We go to them with the attitude small teams came to Ibrox with years ago. Sit deep and hope, stand back and admire them. The reality is both Edinburgh teams give celtic a much tougher game than we do.

Do you think Hearts would have played the same way with an extra 8 European games to deal with? It is quite funny you say that, have a look at Hearts record at the dump, such a tough game they haven't won there in years.

  6. You can't play a pressing game with a fatigued team, its just not biologically possible, if it is true half the team were treated for dehydration it is no wonder they looked fucked within the first half yesterday. What lost us the game was not having any composure when we were on the ball, that just constantly gave them another go at us.

Seeing people posting that he mentioned kerbs being red white and blue where he grew up as a kid

Attitudes like his are exactly what we don't need at our forward thinking club

Forward thinking is acknowledging he is 4th choice and despite his age is still incredibly fit and capable of performing, as well as passing on vital knowledge to our other central defenders who happen to be 21, 21 and 25. For a year contract and minimal wages it's a no brainer.

But naw, he's 38 ffs get him tae fuck

think you were watching the wrong game mate, the last to games he has been decent nowhere near our best player lol what a lot of shite.  few weeks ago people saying how much he gives away possession and makes the wrong decision in the final third but yeah lets built a team round him ya clown.

You're a riot  I said he wasn't raw I never said build a team round him fs.

Just think he needs to learn to control his temperament a wee bit better mate, still love the guy!

Aye don't get me wrong the first yellow is shocking, but temperament never got him the red.

I mean his petulance and is eagerness to involved.

Dont take me for a Morelos hater, I'm his biggest fan! But its definitely his biggest weakness as a player.

He got booked for disagreeing with a referee mate  Every fucking player on the planet does it every game, it was a joke decision but as per people will be desperate to use it as a stick to beat Morelos with.

  11. He should never have booted the ball away, that was childish. But blaming him for the second yellow is an absolute embarrassment, he done nothing wrong and it should never have been a foul anyway. Ask yourselves, if it was a proper ref today, would he have been sent off? That is who could have cost us, not Morelos.

Miss Uzbekistan just translated some of it and she said they are saying good things and are impressed with the stadium and would love to come back and play there. Only complaint is the dressing room is too small. Would love to see their palatial dressing room.

I can see the dressing room getting updated at the request of Stevie G. After what he said about there being changes at Auchenhowie and Ibrox for the players so they don't need to go to a hotel and that, I reckon a wee modernisation of the dressing room whilst keeping tradition will be included.

At the minute he looks like this years Pena, only slimmer and taller

I mean apart from the fact he is the furthest fucking thing from Pena, how can you tell that from a collective 30/40 minutes of football?
