I don't agree that it never will be. We should be looking to like minded people south of the border and across the Irish sea for support.
I've worked all over this country and know for a fact anti Irish feelings aren't confined to the west of Scotland. Also try telling the tims religion is dying. It's one of the bonds that hold them together. I've never been a great church goer either but maybe that's part of the problem. We are undoubtedly losing our identity at an alarming rate so looking to the past for answers might be more beneficial you think.
Strength and unity stem from pride in ourselves imo. We all have no problem backing the Gers so maybe a return to the other values that made us what we are could be a way forward.

Fair enough mate - I agree ideally that's what should happen, but it will take a lot more than anything your average guy like me or you can do.
    All we can do is...
    not vote SNP
Support the club by all means possible - season tickets etc.
Joing a lodge, band, Somme Assosciation and give it the time it deserves
I keep religion out of it because it seems to be dying and I think for a long long time the battle isn't about Protestants and Catholics - it's political but if you do believe in God and want to go to Church then great - do that too if it's your thing.
What we need over and above that is the neutrals to do their part, like they used to do, by ridding Scotland of the SNP and their bullshit left, marxist, socialist pro-anything that's not British policies ... a lot of solutions to our problems will fall into place if that's done first and foremost.
Even though I'm pro-British it would be nice if the British Government did more for the Scot's and I'm not talking about money, we get something like £1200 more per head of population for spending off the treasury ... what I mean is support. They need to step in and help the Scots that voted NO and leave EU and remind us we have an important part to play in the UK and stop us from being manipulated and the life sucked out of us from people who can do it to us in Scotland.
Scotland will end up going the way of Ulster i.e the British Government shitting on them and leaving them high and dry but also coming down hard on them if they do anything to defend theirselfs or their communities against fenians - something the Police and Government won't help them with and in the end only being loyal British citizens because the alternative doesn't bear thinking about.
As I said it's highly complex. We need institutions and organisations and proper, strong politicians to come to the fore and actually do something to change things - your average Joe like me or you simply doesn't have that power no matter how much WATP/this is our country tub-thumping we want to do.

I've said this a few times already. People don't want to see Halliday start because he isn't a glamorous new signing. He has been our most consistent midfielder so far for me and has looked a lot more effective playing further forward. Halliday has certainly earned his starting place.

Would have went with Dodoo or O'Halloran for Miller but I think people are being a bit harsh on Andy, thought he had a good game last week and think it was the wrong choice to sub him when they did.

After last weekends poor start Rangers are visiting the league leaders in search of 3 points. Young Al Capones first visit to Ibrox was on Sunday the 17th of February 1974 when Dundee knocked us out the Scottish cup 3-0 and the second visit was a couple of months later when the beat us 2-1 in he league with Sandy Jardine Scoring. Never liked them since.
My advice to my fellow bears is don't hang about, Dundee is a fucking filthy republican shithole, along with Glasgow its fellow republican shithole they were the only two cities to vote to leave the UK in the 2014 referendum. Dundee as a city is most famous for building a boat and its most famous sons are George Galloway, Oor Willie and The O'Broons which tells you everything you need to know about the place.
back in the day before it was infested its had a proud history. Both clubs have reached the European Cup Semi final. A little known fact that before the European Cup was bastardised into the dull and boring Champions League only 4 cities in Europe had produced 2 club sides that reached the semi final of the European Cup. These 4 cities were Madrid, Milan, Glasgow and Dundee.
Back in the 80s Rangers signed a few players from Dundee, most of them bombed because we were shite. Redford, Iain Ferguson, Cammy Fraser who had a moustache bigger than the ego of gogzy and of course Mr show us the title deeds. We had better luck signing players from the 90s onwards from them. Caniggia who supported us a s boy, Nacho Novo, some Polish international cunt who was pish called Adamczuk who should have stuck to being a plumber or plasterer.
The stats show 226 games between the two clubs and that Dundee are shite, Rangers have won 131 games, Dundee 48 and 47 draws. Our biggest victory was 7-0 in 1898/99 and our biggest defeat is 6-1 in 1937/38

I see us bouncing back with a 3-1 win and kick starting our league season

On behalf of all Bears in Australia I would like to thank the SPFL (or whoever was responsible) for making it an early kickoff so we can watch the game without having to stay up until 3.00am ;or get up at 4.00am to cheer on the 'Gers.
I remind those Bears in the Eastern States that the kickoff is at 9.30pm....9.00pm in Central Australia....7.30 in Western Australia.
I can already see Beer o'Clock on the horizon

Nothing wrong with that, mate! I wear mine all the time when I'm dressed casually going out and about. They are cool in our warmer climate, they dry quickly after a wash and I never miss an opportunity to promote our club...It's even better when you see some fucking bead rattler wearing a mhank top and you can laugh at him for looking like a bag of shite.

If it's the case that they don't like each other ( I've absolutely no idea ) then it's up to Warburton to get that sorted quick smart, as it's completely unprofessional to take that attitude on to the park. I remember that Sheringham and Cole disppised each other and would never talk to one another at all but as soon as they were on the pitch on a match day it has to be put out of your head.

You do not defend your club at all costs (if your club is Rangers)
and one thing we can agree on. I am blinkered by hate. I am consumed by it and the way we have been treated since 2012. I have more hate in me for people like you than your average Celtic fan because you can understand their hate towards good Rangers fans. I will never understand scumbag handwringers like you who claim to support our club for as long as I live.
I've not spoke to one Rangers fan, not one, since May's events who has a bad word to say about the fans. If anything every single one beams with pride.
Then there's the online guys, like you. You can call me an extremist if you want, I kinda agree, but your not much better yourself - your an extremist on the other side of the coin - the extreme handwringer.

Club have made a huge mistake in that letter.
You can't be condemning someone for an "alleged" breach of a rule.
At this stage I believe that would be potentially libelous.
I would also have hoped our club's lawyers would have pounced on that immediately and stopped it, especially whilst court proceedings are due.
I can understand the club's  frustration if indeed any Gers fan was involved in criminal actions, but would have done better to have liaised with the police and the football authorities before issuing restrictions.

This may be contentious to many, but I believe the clubs can have only a minor responsibility for the action of the fans. Ultimately the football authorities and police were responsible for crowd control, and probably are compromised too.
It has even been suggested some cellic fans were involved would cellic themselves have a responsibility ? Hearts fans even, neutrals ? it becomes farcical. Basically any biases towards the clubs should be ignored, the Scottish football authorities and police held partly responsible, and the law of the land applied.

Lads was anyone else really impressed by forester like I was last season before injury?
He kinda gave us our own version of a commons. Picks the ball up and if nothing is on he's not afraid to hit it. Hes got a bit of pace a good finisher and with a full pre season I think he will be a real asset. I've been taken by surprise by him. I actually think he's a technically good player.

Id rather not fuck about with the most Important game on the calendar In terms of global exposure. Would detract from the best game of the year. Would take the best away game from most of the loyal away support. Too many people are too concerned with hurting their fans than what Is best for ours and the club. Damaging the only fixture anyone outside Scotland gives a fuck about Is stupid. Its also why It wont happen and why Its pointless people continually saying we should do It.
Why the fuck are people only just concerned with having them at Ibrox now? Theyve always hated us. Theyve always sang about the IRA. But only now are we annoyed at them being there?
Nah. You need a big away support for that fixture. It needs the hate. People should stop being so precious about them being there.
And btw, well be lucky to sell 43.5k now anyway the way the sales have slowed. Not really the point though.
Been through this time and again. Pointless waste of breath. Wont happen.

    Quality over quantity.
Everyone's obsessed with capacities of stadium's, we have one of the biggest stadiums in Britain for goodness sake, with a UEFA 5 star rating (one of only 27 stadiums.) our main stand is world renowned, the atmosphere on its day/night is unrivalled.
I am enjoying the wee touches being done in and around the stadium maintenance etc, and I'm open to perhaps a safe standing section at some point in the near future. But as far as increasing capacity or changing the overall look and feel of the stadium no thanks!
It's old but it is beautiful, leave it alone.
