Asking McCoists advice about football management is akin to asking a homeless guy for advice about curtains..

Graeme Murty has been hung out to dry by the board.

    30 points behind them
6 points behind aberdeen, virtually 7 if you take into consideration GD.

As for those spineless cunts masquerading as players, empty the whole fucking lot of them..

We would have a chairman who is not a convicted felon. We could also have a hands on chairman that is there all the time and turns up at games. Hopefully he would not make sweeping statements but work quietly in the background.
We would be in a better position to attract investment.
King would still have his shares unless someone agreed to buy them from him and the 1-1.5m he has loaned might have to be repaid depending on the terms.
We would not be in a worse position.

    Pish!
Northern Ireland topped their group, so didn't matter a fuck about the format, they were still going through thanks to the Manager.
The guy would be great for us at present,  gets the best outta very limited resources. Just look what he's instilled in Lafferty, who gives him 110% every game, and who's goals basically took us to France. He has instilled a real winning mentality and the players want to play and give him their all every game. While as before plenty were crying off with sicknotes
But sure he's a Catholic, so that would be more important to some than a manager who could actually get the team back on track and competing, winning, so that would never do ...
Big compensation though, plus he's a man of integrity, doubt he'd do a Sanchez and leave us mid qualifying, especially when he's got us into a great position again.

Gutted about this probably just because I so wanted it to work out for him. Nobody is bigger than the club though. He goes with my best wishes and hope he makes an amazing career with a club, we just need the board to get to fuck and get our club back. I hope we don't get a dinosaur for a manager

Wouldn't be a big upset after watching the first fight . Frampton is massive at Featherweight as well and making the weight doesn't get any easier as he gets older . Still fancy him to just do enough to hold on to his title though . If it's half as good as the first fight then I'll be happy . If Selby also comes through unscathed then hopefully they can get the Windsor fight arranged , the timing would be spot on , unlike the Quigg fight which should've happened 2 years earlier IMO .

I don't understand premiership clubs, fans, English media etc all taking the moral high-ground over China. They just received a £6bn TV deal and consistently spend hundreds of millions of pounds on players yet they still charge about £70 a ticket
EPL is the worst league about when it comes to throwing money about. They're all just gutted there's another league now willing to take them on

The saying " His second touch was a tackle "  was made for Gordon Durie . Hat-trick in a Cup final and the game is still classed as The Laudrup Final .
If Toral can give us a wee bit of the inventiveness that we require in the final third, then we should hopefully score more in the remaining part of the season .

Windass's shooting is atrocious. He'd be lucky to make the grade at Motherwell over the long-term considering he's an attacking midfielder. Warburton has signed too many projects. It will be his undoing because he could have got better with the cash provided.

    Fair enough K.A.I.
From my point of view I have no problem with a group of young Rangers supporters coming along to Ibrox, getting behind the team and adding colour and atmosphere at the same time, many of their displays and banners over the years have been excellent though like yourself some of their songs aren't exactly my cup of tea but  I guess they're restricted to what they can sing when everything they do is recorded by a police force who appear all to eager to make criminals out of them.

Yeah really hope the lad is ok mate but what a fucking foolish thing to do. I feel for him as it must be so hard to walk away from all you know.

Whoever allowed this spar to take place in their gym should lose their trainers license. Also the cunt that was pounding shots to blackwells head fully knowing how close he was to losing his life last time. Such a fucked up situation.

I couldnae give a fuck , will watch it and feel nothing regardless of the outcome
when it comes to the yearly Scotland v England rugby game in the 6 nations I will always watch it and support Scotland probably because Scottish rugby isn't majorly followed by overly tartan tranny yes voting wankers and its team is not infested with bheggars . infact any other major sport if you gave me the choice between Scotland and England I would happily choose Scotland all in the name of a bit of friendly rivalry , however the football team and association can go and take two fucks to themselves .

Saddens me how common place it has become for snide remarks  to be made about our Manager.  The guy deserves some respect, if he fails (results) on the park he has never failed himself in how he has conducted himself as the manager, in fact I would go as far as saying he put pride back into the role following his predecessor.  A few dodgy results and its open season on the guy.
Each to their own but I think the Rangers Manager deserves a bit more respect.

The betting thing just seems like a convienent excuse to keep him away. This never happened with Black (albiet different management set-up and board room regime/owners)
We either want him gone or we want him to stay. Just sort it one way or another i.e do the decent thing and get him in to sort a package that suits us both or get him back into training to start getting fit and intergrated again.
This limbo stuff is no good for any party.

Based on what? Haye is 36 and hasn't had a serious fight since the one he lost over half a decade ago.
His public sparring displays on heavy bags live on Dave haven't changed anyone's opinion on anything. This 'comeback' has just been an exercise in padding his record in the hope that a British guy with a title agrees to fight him.

In hindsight that appears to be the case.
But then based on his previous 3 years, perhaps MW thought that was a risk worth taking. Life isn't black and white and hindsight doesn't really make you smart.
Didn't work out...certainly would be pretty silly to use this as some sort of verification he didn't sanction the signing.

Spot on mate . While Sky's money has been great for the boxers who appear on their platform , it has done more harm elsewhere . The need to attach some sort of title in order to sell the fight has led to the absurd amount of " international" " junior" "silver"  belts on the go nowadays . Even run of the mill fighters can end up fighting for some sort of title now and subsequently small hall promoters have to fork out more to get these boxers on their shows so in turn the ordinary fight fan ends up paying more to see an average show because a belt is up for grabs .
As you say big Fury has used the media to hype himself up and bag some big payday's on his route to the top , and he's not the first to find out that those who build you up can be just as quick to pull you down . Whither or not he has depression , I'm not sure but I think he 's finding out now that some of his smart-arse comments although maybe a wind up are now being used as ammunition by the enemies he's made . Nothing to do with being Irish ? / Gypsy etc , more to do with those he ripped the piss from in the past seizing the chance to hit back .

The problem Barton has is his reputation. Lots of players have had reputations though, Souness, Hurlock, Ferguson although i'm certainly not saying Joey is similar to Souness. He is the reigning Championship player of the year though and has had a good career so far. He is a good football player, although there is no doubt he's been horrendous with us so far.
I remember an interview with Souness when he said he didn't need to do team talks as there would be winners in the team who would say what needed to be said. He sat back and let Gough, Butcher etc lay into people. There are also plenty of accounts of fights amongst players during the 9IAR years when we underperformed.
I'm happy with Barton's words. If they fought who cares. They are men playing a man's game and we were terrible last week, and all season. Whatever was said needed said. We've been shite, Barton has been shite too. This shows the players care. Would we rather they were in Nandos or up the bookies in Milngavie like before? The players have an agreed code of discipline and Barton has admitted he spoke a bit too freely. Take a few days away, come back and deal with it like men. It should stay in the dressing room though - players shouldn't have to come out like this but because the mhedia are baying for blood with us and someone had leaked stuff they are all over it. We shouldn't be helping them. What is important is how the team and players react going forward. We need to pull together and make them eat their words.

Apparently Barton was told he wouldn't be playing on Saturday, was having a moan, Halliday said something then they got into an argument. Sounds a little bit like a mountain of a molehill tbh.
