I'm singing his praises . Too much hypocrisy on here this morning regards SG
If we had won last night . Everyone would have been having orgasms over what SG has done for this club . Certain of it .
The beggar loving media will be loving, that a fair section of the Rangers support will want him sacked soon enough .

Absolute bollocks from some folk on here. Please consider:
HOW THE FUCK was Gerrard going to suddenly, miraculously turn a bunch of dog shit losers into a title winning celtic destroying team of gladiators???
WHO THE FUCK would you have got in as manager who would - with ONE transfer window - have transformed Murty's meltdowns into league winners?
WHY THE FUCK are we having a good European run if Gerrard is a clueless fanny?
AND, FINALLY, GET TO FUCK with all this negativity.
    Give the man time FFS.

No squad in the past 6 years would of won  4 qualifying rounds and then went on to top the group at the half way stage of the Europa league group stage.
Not to mention the fact that we have just entered record books for most European matches unbeaten (club record)
No team would of only been 2 points behind celtic (even after a defeat to them) after almost a third of the season.
Pretty sure we lost out 26 years home record against Aberdeen with the managed you mentioned. SG is making Ibrox back into a fortress.
He has struggled away from Ibrox and I put that down to him learning how to go away from home and win which he has now done.

Is that enough improvement for you?

Well said my friend. The doomsayers were out in force yesterday, as they are after every misstep, as indeed they are in this thread. There will be other missteps, and I suspect that there will be one in Moscow shortly. But it doesn't blind me to the immense progress we have made under SG, or the enormity of the task we face. His relative success over the past few months has unrealistically heightened expectations. I didn't expect the league title this year, and nor did I expect us to qualify for the group stage of the Europa League. Im prepared to take each game as it comes whatever the outcome. I'm as disappointed as anyone about the game yesterday - gutted like most others! But I refuse to be a doomsayers after 4 months of SG's tenure. Some on here need to get real!

A lot of people are right to be expressing their disappointment with regards to not getting to the final of the league cup and for a stuttering start to the league but in my opinion there is no one better than Steven Gerrard  to take us to 55. I have seen more improvement in the past 6 months than we have seen in the past 6 years. He has only been in full time management for a short period of time and within that 1 transfer window he has managed to assemble a respectable squad capable in qualifying us into the group stage of Europa league and currently has us challenging for the league (2 points behind celtic after 9 games).
Are we the finished article? Of course not SG has signed up for a 4 year plan which will give him the opportunity to completely refurbish the squad and firmly put his mark on his style of play. For now he is still learning his trade and evidently making some mistakes i.e late subs or Morelos playing in the Ary match, Lee Wallace sub against Motherwell etc but he is only going to grow as a manager overtime and I fully buy in to the fact that over the course of this season we are going to have a lot of highs and certainly some lows but lets not forget where we were last season or the previous 5 years before that. I honestly think that if anyone is doubting his ability as our manager then  you need to remember where we have came from as a blind man can see the progress that we have made under his leadership.
The next transfer window (not likely January) will be the chance to start adding real quality to the squad as we certainly have the best core of players in recent years. For me this season can go either way and we may actually challenge celtic for the league or we might end up fighting it out for second place but with another few transfer windows under his belt I am confident that we are certainly on our way to winning 55. I am fully confident that SG is our best chance at stopping celtic from getting 10 in a row. For the first time since Walter we have a manager who understands what it is to be the Rangers manager. He does not come across as someone that will be content with 2nd place (McInnes Syndrome) and listening to his post match interview last night I think he is understanding that his squad is not good enough to maintain the high level of consistency that he is looking for or what is needed to successfully challenge on multiple fronts.

I’m actually really disappointed by some of the supporters reactions. 2 weeks ago we’d pumped Hearts at Ibrox after beating Rapid Vienna and destroying St Johnstone and Dundee and now after a difficult week people aren’t sure if we can beat a Killie side we’ve already pumped this season? The doom and gloom on here is unreal, didn’t any of you expect bad results or difficult patches this season?

Rangers are delighted to confirm that Scottish youth international Glenn Middleton has signed a new contract at the club.
Middleton, who joined the club in January 2018 from Norwich, has signed a contract that will keep him at the Club until summer 2023.
After impressing for the Academy at the end of last season, the youngster travelled on pre-season to Spain with the first team and was thereafter promoted to the first team proper.
He then went on to make his first-team debut for the club as a second-half substitute in the Europa League qualifier this season against FK Shkupi at Ibrox.
He then scored his first goal for the club against Dundee in a 4-0 win the Ladbrokes Premiership.
The winger has now made twelve first team appearances and scored three goals.
Middleton has appeared at all youth age groups for the Scottish national team and has now made six appearances for the under-21 side, featuring recently against England and Ukraine.
