Without doubt. Walter is as much Mr Rangers to 'my' generation as Greig is to older bears. I'm generally against statues at grounds but he is absolutely one there's a very good case for. Opposite end to JG and the disaster memorial would be ideal and woulld be fitting to have Walter and Greig flanking the Bill Struth main stand.

Even with Waddell and Wallace being the men behind Barcelona 72, Smith stands above, shoulder to shoulder with Struth, in our Club’s history.
Statues have lost their value outside some football stadiums across the world but I think I speak for everyone in saying that Walter Smith absolutely deserves one the opposite side of the main stand from Greig.

Think there’s a lot of heads in the sand here. They cunts have always responded pretty well to major embarrassments going all the way back to O’Neil, with Rodgers being the most painful example. They’ve made some good additions, will probably make some more, and some pretty good players that were rotting under Lennon have turned a corner. 
We need to sort ourselves out and fast, because automatic Champions League is everything. If we surrender it to them in our current financial situation we better start thinking seriously about how we’re going to stop them catching us in total league titles - which is and always has been far bigger than stopping 10 in a row.
