  1. Plus an inexperienced manager who seems to be getting the best from them - even though he's a twat.
  2. That was a cracker. Would have been a red if it wasn't a friendly.
  3. Think a few eyes were opened down south when the unwashed shockingly sang about Lee Rigby. Think it was at Brentford. Hopefully the condemnation of them continues as thats what the songs last night were a sign of.
  4. To take Boyd as an example. If you go to work one day and can't be bothered and don't do the job properly one of two things happen. A. Your boss notices and has a quiet word or rips you a new one. B. Nothing is said due to your boss not noticing or not caring. From then on its a case of if the boss doesn't care or notice why should I bother. To me thats what has happened and is most noticeable with Boyd. He knows he wont get shit if he is crap so he doesn't try the way he was at Killie last season. Imagine performing like Boyd then going off to face Advocat, Jock Wallace, Souness, Walter etc. Think you might try a bit harder in training and future games?? BTW just using Boyd But could be a lot of players.
  5. If you take the pro/anti Ally supporters out of the equation just ask yourself who opposition fans want as our manager. Like us not wanting Mowbray to leave as he was utter mince as a manager and every day he was in the job it made the grey and green unwashed worse. Thats the position we are in with Ally. Other fans want him to stay with us as it improves their chances. Sad but true.
  6. Oh dear, this is not good. Have to question how Hearts can do this with a much lower wage bill and a novice manager. I'm
  7. Another vote for the PSV game in Holland 1978. Think it was their first European defeat at home. We were docked in Rotterdam and managed to get tickets from the company shipping agent. What a game and when the 3rd goal from Bobby Russell went in I just about wet myself. What a night afterwards too.
  8. Superb catch by Cobb for the 6 th touchdown. And loved the screen pass touch down where the O line just kept charging up the pitch destroying any bears they saw.
  9. Bit like an incident in the rugby Sat between eng/NZ. One of the NZ players showed how professional they are by knowing the rules in an unusual situation where the Eng players obviously didn't. Just a pity he knocked it on when he went to score Think there are a lot of players and ex-players that struggle with the rules.
  10. Why would Ally even bother lying about this. Bet Gordon was offered a pay per game deal, due to his injury worries, and took the hump because of this. Lucky to be shot of him if this is the way he behaves. Just wait for the "POP" as that knee goes again.
  11. Some fantastic goals there and his coolness in front of goal was outstanding. Another thing the video reminded me of was Gazzas strength on the ball. Dont think I've seen a better player running with the ball under pressure but always outmuscled whoever was with him. Plus his elbows helped lol.
  12. Thought for a minute Ian Ferguson had gone back to playing. What a cracker of a tackle lol.
  13. Enjoyed the game but with the commentary turned down. The Warrington players were out on their feet with 15 mins to go but kept plugging away. Was impressed with the guy Sercombe on the right flank/mid. He was fast, direct, took on defenders and put in some great crosses. Oh to have a scouting network.
  14. The interview with Ally is hilarious. He must mention the fact the board made the decision about five times. Nothing like getting your excuses in early if anything goes wrong. Honest guv, it wasn't my fault. Must admit I was disappointed in him doing that as surely we are all in this together.
  15. Enjoyed the Steelers / Ravens game Sunday. Thought the Ravens were going to walk it after the first period but Big Ben, Harrison and Antonio Brown turned the game round plus the Steelers defense. Bit of an own goal with Suggs etc really going after Ben because when Harrison etc did the same to Flacco he seemed to lose interest quickly lol. Suggs then made an arse of himself with the posturing and posing which would have been great if they had won but they didn't. And my Redskins just cant seem to buy a win. Starting to lose faith in RG lll a bit though. Oh and have to say one of the best stiff arms I've seen by Antonio Brown when scoring his TD.
  16. Spot on. All the pressure is on them and every time this season they've had a big game their arses have collapsed. Legia, Maribor etc. If we got in about them early on I'm sure they will fold.
  17. Seems they are two totally different entities. UOF is a strange group that although fronted by CG doesn't seem to be as media hungry as SOS. As with others I believe they are funded/backed by Murray or King but Houston has started to believe the bs publicity his group are generating. So much so that imo the backers are now shying away from them. This guy is a real Walter Mitty character and should be excluded from Ibrox by the board for the damage he is causing. Whether he believes or not in his cause, its now secondary to his own sense of importance. Every one is allowed to protest but do it in a way that does not harm or damage the club they say they support. If they continue with this they have to be banned.
  18. Anything like a programme going out to fans will be proof read by someone on the board or GM if they have one. Probably had a good chuckle over it not realising the reaction. The apology may be genuine, but its not because they offended us. It's because of concern over possible financial repercussions.
  19. Plus a few perks from the SFA that we probably don't know about.
