This could be a really important moment in the way Scottish football goes from here. Over the last few years it has been run by and exclusively for the dhims with them over-riding every club and organisation including refs for their own benefit.
The fact that their main allies have openly come out against them with that statement from hivs must be a real shock for them. With Milne at the sheep also going against them with a few other clubs it makes you wonder what they know or think might be about to happen.
Lets not forget Rhegan was Liewells man from the start as they worked together before  etc and for him to all of a sudden go against the grain is really interesting. There is obviously a lot more going on behind the scenes than we realise and hopefully this is the start of the dhims power losing ground. Lets be honest other clubs were pulled into our relegation and other punishments 5 years ago with promises of how well football would do without us. Now they must look at how much the scum have coined it (£100mill+) with CL etc and look at what their own small clubs have gained financially - nothing.

Like me ?   Who has been a season ticket holder for over 30years and who, invested £5k in the club.  Yes I will move so some wee Spotty 17 year old who has been around Ibrox the full of 4 seasons telling us what we should do...
If you want safe standing then the club can work out how much it will cost per seat say £2500 per head.  How many will pay that ?
No you think us season ticket holders and shareholders should pay for this luxury? Are you prepared to pay say £3k for the price to change it and say a new season ticket next season?
Thought not and as for reception? What a few wee claps  ???, dream on as it will never happen in the Copland and even if it did those people already there would get first refusal, These so called fans seem to think they are better than those that have been around for decades?    This is everything that is wrong at Ibrox.

So basically we keep the net profit from the club store and website, but the position of sales through SD stay the same with the net profit split.
The club has to ensure by getting the message out to fans that everything is bought through the megastore and online to maximise profit.

Club 1872 is being launched tomorrow ( Thursday )
After Saturday's violence and mayhem I think every Rangers fan should get behind this.
    Forget all the petty differences,
Forget any individuals you have doubts about,
    Forget about personalities,
Forget about fans groups that have gone before,
    Forget about so called COI's
    Forget about alternative merchandise
( Forget them for just now, we can revisit them on Club 1872 Board Elections )
And put these all to the back of your mind,
Remember that we are all Rangers Fans
Remember what has happened in the recent past,
Remember that we all want what is best for our club
Remember that as a force we can make a diffrence
Remember that we have a decent Management
Remember that we are going for title 55
Remember the ones in Scottish football who tried to kill us
and most importantly for Club 1872, remember these fans that are on the working group are only temporary until the election when any member of Club 1872 can stand for the board, probably about 3 months.
And above all Remember  We Are The People'
Let.s give it our backing and at least a chance to flourish
    RM

    *************************************
Just did a wee spot of reminiscing there, some remembering and forgetting as it were.
Things certainly flourished for Whitney. Even RMs boy appears to have got a Rangers job now and big Rab himself has got his hands full with the top secret EH CIC.
C1872? Yeah that's not flourishing quite so much. It's almost as if it has been a useful vehicle for some to get a wee leg up.
Still, we're all Rangers fans and all this is being done for the good of the club.
Forget / remember as you will.

Well just read comments about the meeting on here and from a link to FF (not a member). The support for CH on there is quite startling and I was wondering why. Negative posts about him seem to get deleted and the posters banned.
Could it be a case of you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours as come the next elections for 1872 backing from CH might just get someone over the line. I was really surprised this person did not apply last time but there was a lot of negative stuff about him then. Surely the bastions of truth would not stoop to getting a glowing run on FF in return for getting on 1872 's board. Nah I'm too suspicious.
On another note nothing like self promotion when discussing the 1872 meeting. I quote
' always make The Louden available to any Rangers fans group. We always offer a pie and usually a free drink as well'

Herein lies the problem for many of us. An organisation with share power is always going to attract the parasites who are power-hungry; like flies to a shit in summer. Such an organisation will never be able to speak for the fans as a whole. We need an organisation which will represent the fanbase without any add-ons.

A lot of people will never forgive the 'merger' with RST. Sorry I mean 1872. The excuses and reasoning given were pretty thin and as things have progressed a lot of folk believe now it was all pre-planned. The brazen denials were strident but were really just semantics.
Some of the older bears may remember we tried to sign a player from a Scottish Club only to be told they would never sell to Rangers. Next thing you know said player signed for a team down south and surprise, surprise only stayed a season then came back to us. Was that a merger too?

The most important issue is to somehow now get control of the cash away from the board of 1872. Whether it gets put into something as simple as a savings account, trust or simple interest paying account which can earn cash until what to do with it is decided. What a pity RF cannot be resurrected to what it was before. I still cannot believe the shenanigans and manouvering that led to the brazen stitch up of the "merger". How some folk got away with that is beyond belief and it just goes to show misplaced confidence and a well placed dodgy question enabled the blue pound collectors to take over power when they should have been run out of town.
I'm sure we could find a group of responsible people to be the trustees of the cash such as Walter Smith, Gordon Smith, JG etc. Once the cash is out of the control of the usual suspects I would not be surprised if they moved on. Then the support could assume their rightful place in charge of the cash that they raised themselves and how it should be spent - a clue here - shares, shares and shares.

People who were behind the downfall of RF and the birth of this clusterfuck have a lot to answer for. People like the Marshalls who are already moving on to the next dodgy scheme Edminston House CIC. Yet another vehicle for fan spivs to fleece the fans and milk the blue pound a bit more.

Bloody hell, how thick am I as did not realise this until your post.
So Robertson got asked a couple of dodgy questions by the C1872 board. Thought "fuck this" get it to one point of contact such as a SLO. Then  I can tell him just to shut up and to stay in the corner sooking jelly beans while the big boys carry on. So as Murray was the 'shit shield' for King, the SLO will do the same job for Robertson and the board.

I suspect, only a suspicion, not.  Think TRFFF, where a small clique decided to finance a new stand at Murray Park after the idea of paying legal fees of a charlatan was shot down.
I suspect there will be some ruse where the shares are handed back to the club in return for a couple of blazers.
    Hope I am wrong.
