Drawing at home to PSV wasn't a good result. It left us with a very unlikely route to progressing. Tonight is a great result.

Beale picking tonights midfield and strikers 

No he doesn’t, he’s usually at it, like he is in the post above. 

To be fair we let them play, we gave them so much time and more importantly space to attack and punish us. Lazy midfield not closing down, letting them double up in wide areas against our full backs unopposed, drawing out Goldson to try and help and exploiting that space. Our tactics and failure to deal with how everyone knew how they play made them look better than they are.

Hopefully back in a few weeks with a Zorro mask on.

The margin of error on offside has to be much greater than 1cm.  For example a striker in full sprint recieving a pass, the difference of being on or off can come down to the video frame chosen.  The passers contact with the ball will occupy a few frames.

Surely Matondo has now moved ahead of Lammers to start.  We look much better with Matondo adding pace and taking players on.  I'm not sure Lammers is suited to the role he's being asked to play.  Not that I know what role he should play.

That was horrendous. We cannot continue playing like this.
Lammers is clearly a donkey and we look so much better with width. He really can’t play much of a starting role going forward at all.

Drop someone from the European squad and then start them the day after you say you’ll play your strongest 11. Make it make sense.
Good to see him start though, and eventually drop Dessers. 
 
Bench looks woeful

This place tomorrow when Beale announces a 4-3-3 narrow with Dessers leading the line and Danilo on the bench.

I have saw nothing so far with Dowell to rate him mate. Butland has been our best signing.
