And another thing. Me and my mates scrimp and save to go to the hospitality once every season. This year six of us are spending £300 a head to go to the Thornton Suite. Cracking day, but you hardly get your monies worth if the truth be told.

That's not what he said. If the club doesn't respect / value the fans, then there is no reputation worth protecting. The fans are the heart and soul of the club. 
I think bringing the season ticket ban in before a criminal case has been heard is poor judgement, especially when he's plead not guilty and denies being on the park. It should have been a suspension pending an investigation, and anyone being investigated should be allowed to be represented.
Added to that, the initial statement made a strong defence of said fans. It comes across as very hypocritical, and raises suspicious of other influencing factors. 
The board have made a bad call IMO. 

I agree, the police were not prepared and no where near the presence required.
When we played Peterhead a short while before that we had a ring of stewards all the way round......i do feel the Police were partly at fault for their negligence.

The board have completely shown themselves up with this and have went down in my estimation and it proves they only see us as  a cash cow to be milked at every opportunity. Surely this is what fan groups are for? The groups have to look at each individual case and decide if there was any criminal act committed of real note (i.e GBH, not just entering the pitch) and if not then they must lobby to get these guys either their books back or at the very least their money returned. Im no an apologist  for bad behaviour but fuck me there are a few on here who must be whiter than white when it comes to attending games. The club would have been better either waiting for the real case to be heard and again at the very least revoked the season book but refunded the money. Legalized robbery in my opinion

The thing that gets me is the season ticket removal with no refund!!!!!!
The said person could walk free from court but would find themselves banned and out of pocket into the bargain. 
A clear case of thanks for defending the club and players on the day in question but now we have all season monies in we can start banning people who were rightly lauded for defending the club and staff.

This is a nut shell, the board need pulled on this, Celtic defend their fans to the hilt, we throw ours to the wolves, No wonder our enemy's see us as easy targets.

I think being allowed to pay for a season ticket before being banned is completely wank

If a company suspends someone pending an investigation which doesn't infer guilt, they get suspended on full-pay i.e not losing anything while things are undetermined,
The guilty one - that is his defence but nothing more detailed can be said because his sentencing is ongoing and all sorts of people read this forum mate so would be unwise to talk too much about it yet. I'm sure once it's done plenty will be said.

See the problem is you're doing what she done. I've been there 0-0 away to Montrose and defeats at home to annan. But label our support as some sort of glory hunters is bullshit. People in div 3 and 2 started taking on extra shifts etc. They'd paid and helped secure the club but they had to do what was best for their family as well. Extra shifts mean extra money. But still buying your book is what helped save this club.
I know 2 boys on here who barely miss a game but then started to do other things as well as follow Rangers. They went to epl games etc but had still paid for Rangers STS. The thing is the games weren't competitive we had won the league before a ball was kicked. 
Sitting on a Sunday humping east Stirling 5-1 was fun for a few weeks but like the tarriers we struggled to be a crowd due to mundane shite. But folk still went. The boycott never started till the club was being royally pumped up the shiter. She called folk glory hunters. 37000 fucking glory hunters to watch us play Berwick and Annan? Geez peace. I know boys on here who've been to watch us v formartine or whatever the fuck they are called and nearly every otger away game and home game since this debacle began. Are they better than the ones who only went to Ibrox? 
I notice none of them are I  getting excited about glory hunters etc. A lot of Ulster bears stopped going and can you blame them? 100 and odd quid every home game to see us scrape by queens park? They came but sparingly (not all obviously bit a good amount(
She was gibbering pish about abandoning the team and being glory hunters. Well the stats don't really back that up. At our lowest ebb in div 3 there was more there than the start of the first season on the championship. Says it all to me and it's fuck all to do with glory hunting
