  1. No offence OP but that's a bit of a master of the obvious statement that.

McGregor is in a different league to Foderingham . Every aspect of his game is  significantly superior , he's showed that from his first appearance of the season. Hence the reason we are now a difficult team to beat.

It's a free country. We can vote for who the fuck we want without being bullied or pressurised into someone else's point of view.

The common thing here is we all support Rangers and that's all that matters.

You have nothing in common with me or the vast majority on here ya fkn rocket, you and your ilk are fkn despised I can assure you.

How's that for expressing a point of view.

If this shit was the other way around and Septic were in our position, they would be marching on George Square tonight and there would be fucking riots. FACT!

Correct.......... And that is precisely why we find ourselves in the position we are in this country. Because we tolerate, because we turn the other cheek, because we do fuck all but moan to each other about the situation instead of remedying matters . This instance will be the same it will amount to sweet fk all.

The SNP has ALWAYS spelled danger, both in terms of their political shortcomings and warped nationalist ideology. Their ultimate aim - to separate Scotland from the rest of the UK - would make Scotland an irrelevant backwater and its citizens financially poorer. It's worth remembering that we British bailed out the SNP's rhepublican prototype (i.e Ireland) to the tune of over £7bn - estimated to have cost the average British family £300.

'On one of the darkest moments in recent Irish history, Prime Minister Brian Cowen last night bowed to a week of EU pressure and said the once-mighty celtic Tiger requires a humiliating Greek-style handout to prop up the government and its basket-case banks.'

And that's the reality BEFORE we even consider their anti-Rangers/protestant/British agenda.

    Good Post ?

I have been reading your posts guys and find myself agreeing with what you are saying, it will be difficult to stop these people, but I do not think it is too late.

I decided last week to join twitter, not sure why, but it has been a real eye opener with the nonsense the yes supporters are offended at, but I must admit I am also encouraged with the number of people who are pulling them up and ridiculing the worst of their shite. Support for the union is very strong on twitter from what I see and maybe what we need is more from our side to sign up and just concentrate on getting more voices out there. I have not really posted much yet but you can like posts and retweet to bring them to others attention.

    We are still the people.

I'm glad you agree and yes it's crucial people on here don't simply give up hope on what's going on. You are correct of course, support for the union is STILL very strong and people need to embrace that despite the unparalleled propaganda they read in the Scottish gutter press.

If we still respect ourselves (and I firmly believe we do) then we should fight this anti British, anti Rangers agenda tooth and nail. There's no need to be  over aggressive.  If you really want to be uber staunch then get clever. Get involved.

Don’t simply swallow the ever flowing stream of shite that comes from the likes of James Dornan and his ilk. If you really care and are heart sick of it then take your concerns beyond the pages on here and make your voice heard and don't ever be ashamed to do it.

Very true but it can be done. Challenge everything and they don’t know how to respond.

What I find more sickening is the amount of people within our fan base who actually back them up. They have a terrible record in running the country yet many still fall for their hype and propaganda. Must be akin to being part of a Cult! Believe everything, question nothing and deny all then play race/gender/bigotry( insert when appropriate)  card when caught out.

    Question everything....  Correct.

Note and log every instance of inappropriate behaviour.

Every questionable statement get it out there for public consumption.

Call them out for absolutely everything

Let them be the the architects of their own downfall and when the times right use it against them.

It’s going to take a few very very brave people in public office to face them down. Because once they do, them and their families will come under a barrage of mud slinging and every dirty trick in the book including physical violence.

I take comfort in the simple fact they managed it, albeit over a long long time. If the appetite is there (and I think we as a people are approaching saturation point) then change can indeed be achieved.

Don’t let them kid you on mate, the ones in the public eye maybe a couple of bottles short of a six pack, but the real power hidden behind the scenes are devious cunning and know exactly what they are doing.

We still have the numbers to overturn anything they can throw at us and we have to believe that or else we truely are fucked.

I'm the last person on here to underestimate their methods, their goals or their desire believe me. I've been watching closely for the last couple of decades with a grudging admiration but there are flaws there too. Our problem is we are nowhere near as motivated as they are but I cling to the hope we will reassert ourselves, certainly in public office.

They have written the narrative that he is attacking the bad guys (British army in Ireland murdering bastards) it’s astonishing just how many folk buy into this shit. The republicans could’ve whitewashed The Jewish Holocaust into the nazis letting a few folk fall down in the showers.

They have dehumanised our side to such an extreme that they can say anything they like and it’s treated as a good guy fighting against knuckle dragging scum by general society.

You ask anyone that doesn’t really know the history of the 2 clubs and their support and they will tell you the jolly celtic fans always having a laugh and a joke and the bigoted Rangers fans always looking to cause trouble.

To be honest mate we have lost this battle and imo the war is only a matter of time, people won’t vote the snp out because they are a shower of republican scum that have more in common with terrorists than than joe public in the street. They have them convinced the terrorists are the good guys.

Hard to disagree with any of that other than the part about conceding defeat to the likes of them. There are far keener minds than me on here with perfectly valid opinions on how we can tackle these bastards head on.

A thread on discussions on how to move forward with this maybe? One where we park the indignity and concentrate on getting proactive maybe. I'm sorry but I find it very hard to stomach the idea of being permanently out maneuvered by people with very very limited intelligence.

How the fuck does a cunt holding that opinion make it to public office in a fair minded society.

Oh wait I’ve forgot it 21st century scotland, the snp make Sinn Fein look like a party of the progressive middle ground.

Because we allow him to. Sorry but that's it in a nutshell.

The worst thing is I can genuinely believe them sitting in a room with the how do we get these orange bastards this week.

This country is heading to a very scary place if it isn’t there already.

Aye because we continually do nothing about it.

As someone has already mentioned that picture alone should ensure this piece of shit is removed from office. There are proper procedures to persue but Its up to us to make it happen. He has absolutely no right to sit in judgement on matters relating to sectarianism due to his actions and has left us plenty of rope to hang him with.

  12. If this cunt was still of any use he'd have been snapped up by one of the hundreds of clubs available to him south of the border. Fact is though, he hasn't so what does that tell us. A bit of common sense please. If we are serious about Rangers progressing then this is not worthy of further discussion.

  13. Anytime ive seen them struggle it's been when the opposing team are on the offensive. Both in Europe and the spl they struggle when confronted with controlled aggression. It was missing from our play from the off, and I'm sorry but I don't agree with the fatigue argument at all. Not a bit of it. I feel it was a missed opportunity.

As they have proven over the last few years they have quality in offensive positions their weakness lies in defence and we never came close to testing them. I don't like to be critical of Gerrard too much because he's got so much right since he arrived but it has to be said the tactics were ALL WRONG on Sunday. Keep that up and the league is theirs.

It was the first one of the season we could and should have shown so much more than we did. I genuinely believed Gerrard had absorbed the fact they are vulnerable when faced with the pressing game but it appears not.

I'm both hugely disappointed and underwhelmed by our approach to that game . I must be getting naive in my old age because I really thought we  could have laid down a marker on Sunday, unfortunately that's most definitely not the case. They are the ones taking confidence into the next one now.

celtic won yesterday fair and square. There's no doubt they were the better team, possession stats would suggest it was men against boys. We sat in and they played us off the park and so we all seem to agree. Pundits and celtic fans and some bears alike have us written off already.

However I disagree. Yes they have some good players and have been dominant for some time but let's be honest here they are not that good. We made them look good with the way we set up. The exact same way we set up in last seasons games.

If you sit back attempting to play the defend and contain game you will make any team look good. We gave them so much space and time on the ball to pick their passes and sat so deep we had to resort to long balls and clearances which lost us possession.

Press and close down and you force them to make mistakes. Hearts proved this already this season only a couple of weeks ago. They didn't look like superstars as they didn't give them the acres of space and plenty of time on the ball to pass around and work on wave after wave of attack.

Don't give me the 9 men long flight home pish, the defeat and the manner of it was purely down to how we set up. If on the next game the gaffer learns the lesson we will press, push them back, force them to make mistakes and we will show them that we are more than capable of pushing them all the way!

We did it in the 2-3 game back in March, the difference is we can defend now.

I truly hope we show them less respect in the next game and show them how good we can actually be!

    WaTP

    Totally agree with this.

It's been two days since the game and still I can't understand for the life of me why we went into that game with such a defensive attitude.

If history has taught us anything its you cannot go into that fucking midden looking to contain for 90 minutes. We played right into their hands. It's almost as if we had already accepted defeat like any other spl side.

What has me worried is Gerrard must have known well in advance what we would face there. I was looking for an "in your face" Rangers from the off on Sunday yet in all honesty what we got was no better than the shite of the previous years. Its demoralising and Im struggling to understand his reasoning because that was never ever going to end any differently than it did using those tactics.

  15. Of all the threads to pass my comments on I've chosen this one as I fundamentally disagree. I most definitely am not proud of the team today. This is exactly the type of performance I had hoped we had put behind us last season. Put simply if we are to offer any kind of resistance to these fuckers we have to carry the game to them. Everything I was looking for in a offensive sense was missing today and I'm really really disappointed in that.

  16. Had my reservations about the boy and I'm happy to admit that now looks unfounded. Harsh as it may seem though I still think Sunday he's best used coming off the bench. He could provide a spark later on if we need a goal.
