SIRB_72 got a reaction from RangersMedia in PFA Player Of The Year
Looking back at the list they gave it to Di Canio the year we completed 9iar. They had to share it in 04-05 with Ricksen and Hartson, Brown won it 08-09 and Izaguirre won it in 10-11. All years we won the league.
According to wiki a celtic player has won it 23 times compared to Rangers who have only had 10 winners. In our last 8 title wins (97 being the first) 2 1/2 Rangers players have won it. Ferguson, Ricksen and Davis. Only once when they've won it in that time period a Rangers player has won it. Amoruso in 01/02.
Get your money on McGregor or Forrest it seems.

Me too but the only thing I can think of was his argument on the pitch with Morelos that seemed to go against him. For me that day, Murty made a cunt of just about everything, Halliday especially, I’ll never forget the way he hung the boy out to dry the way he did, no cunt deserved that.

Exactly this, he was a stand out at Hamilton then came to us when we were absolutely shite. Not the easiest of transitions, especially with the expectations and 21 years old. He’ll be fine in this team I think.

I think that's a tad unfair for people to be writing him off so soon. His goal and assist rate for Shrewsbury is very impressive as was the amount of assists he got at Hamilton was also pretty good for them.
In his 6 months here he was played to deep compared to Shrewsbury and Hamilton and didn't meet the standards he reached at those two clubs never mind the extra needed at Rangers
Given the chance he can pick a pass, can break the lines between midfield and defence and get into the box. He can be quite deadly crossing from set pieces to which is always an asset and he has a good engine.
For me he's perfect for playing that role in a 3 that Arfield was playing earlier in the season. Not just that he gives us so much more flexibility tactically in midfield.

SIRB_72 reacted to RangersMedia in Our Allocation at Rugby Park
I honestly don't have an issue with clubs wanting to cut our allocation. Fine. It is what it is. They only harm themselves.
I have an issue when our club then kowtow to them and take the increased allocations when they suddenly turn shite again. I think I read on here a few weeks ago there should be league-wide agreements that go out 4-5 years that have allocations already agreed, meaning no club can change them unless something drastic like stadium redevelopment etc. I think that's a good suggestion and would soon stop these guys from cutting allocations because they wouldn't take these dumb reactive populist decisions knowing it will cost them millions over the coming years

Don't see how anyone can have a go at Gerrard for today
Think he got more or less everything spot on from a managerial point of view

The kind of answer I would expect any Rangers legend who was in another managerial position to give if asked the same question.

😂😂 no doubt a frustrating part of his game but I'm just pointing out that he's probably one of the last guys we should be throwing under the bus when it comes to the final third.

SIRB_72 reacted to plumbGER in Ryan Kent
I'm getting a bit frustrated by him, partly because he has shown us what he can do, but we as a team rely far too heavily on him to make things happen.
Just about every young winger will be the same, inconsistent, and that's what we are seeing with Kent. Teams are now doubling up on him (sometimes more) and the movement from our midfield is woeful so aren't creating many options for him to pass to hence why he ends up holding onto the ball too long imo.

SIRB_72 got a reaction from Fatman10 in Ryan Kent
He's not the finished product by any stretch of the imagination like you say his composure lacks. He has 5 assists but he could hit 8/9 with a bit of improvement.
However, as it stands he is one of the most productive players in the league. I'm sure his numbers would be higher if he was playing with better players than Arfield and Candeias behind Morelos. To be honest I think I'm doing Arfield a diservice there.

Another, like Morelos, who suffers from being part of a team without much quality in the final third.
Since the break he's being double, sometimes treble marked by the likes of Aberdeen and Kilmarnock.
I do think his numbers (assists and goals) are stronger than we give him credit for. If we compare him to players who play for celtic he isn't far off the mark.
He's had had 5 goals and 5 assists in the league (21 games) which is a goal /assist every 4(.2) or so games. If we look at goals compared to sinclair, forrest, mcgregor and christie he would rank 4th. However, he doesn't hit penalties unlike sinclair so his goal per game would actually be higher than sinclair's if you took away penalties(4.2-4.33). If you also took away the 4 goals forrest scored in one game Kent would go ahead of him on the same ratio as sinclair's (4.2-4.33) putting him 2nd in goals per game.
In terms of assists Kent ranks 2nd to forrest who has an assist every 3.7 games. Kent ranks higher than sinclair (an assist every 13 games), christie (every 5.25 games) and mcgregor (every 5.2 games).
He just doesn't have the quality around him for me.

SIRB_72 got a reaction from BlueAvenger in Ross McCrorie -- last night
I was okay with Davis because if Jack is out I'd rather he filled in for him than Arfield, but Coulibaly took me completely by surprise.
For me he is the only player in that team that has been dropped completely unfairly. I don't know if there is an attitude issue or something like that but we are a helluva lot more likely to win games with him in the side. We need players like him playing in this league.

Join the club mate. I've posted many times we need his physicality in midfield particularly in tough games. Couldn't believe it when Coulibaly and Davis started

I feel like all I do is talk this boy up but he makes a difference.
That's us at the 30 game mark in the league. We've started 20 without him and only won 9 (Less than half ffs) and in the 10 he's started we've won 8.
Without him in the team we only win 45% of our matches and with him in the side we win 80% of our matches.
McCrorie has only started a third of our games in the league and has started in 47% of our wins. That's roughly a 14% upgrade in our win ratio with him in the side and it seems to get bigger every time I look at it. Over 38 games 14% is about 5 wins extra.
I get that today he wouldn't have carved open that chance to win us the game but he would give us structure, tempo and bit of grit we were truly lacking.
