thehost 11,061
He was interviewed pre match, in the thornton, and he was less than diplomatic regarding not playing. He was fizzing mad and didn't give a fuck about sharing his bewilderment. The MC started to try and mitigate it but Ross was having none of it and kept on message about being fucking raging that he wasn't playing. Don't think I've ever heard a player be so outspoken before. Gman36, Blumhoilann, HG5 and 1 other

SeparateEntityMyArse 53,733
We could have done with his physicality and energy in midfield, but he offers little creativity and that's what we really missed. Whilst I think their midfield were stronger and bullied us to an extent in one to ones, they never dominated possession or territory at any time. I'm really not sure he'd have made too much of a difference, though he does probably deserve a chance to start on Saturday. Popular Post Reformation Bear 6,453
It can be assumed then that he is man enough to go knock on an angry Manager's door and repeat his complaint in the same words and same tone direct to the Manager. And they can both take it from there. If he's not man enough to do that then that's his look out. Spouting angrily in public and hoping that the message is brought to the Manager's attention is one way of doing business but he might then expect a very robust reaction from the Manager and possibly the DOF. Better if he had said what he felt he needed to say in private to SG and not use a public event to vent his frustration. Different of course if he had already said his piece in the same way and same tone to SG beforehand as at tleas then he'd have had the balls to front up to the manager, but did he do that? Also begs a question - rightly or wrongly - as to whether SG is losing some of the dressing room if a player feels the need to have a go at the manager behind his back. tannerall, Jonok, cstamomusa and 2 others

McEwan's Lager 30,536
It looks like he has been treated terribly by the manager to be honest. Although we don’t know what’s happened behind the door, whether he’s not training well etc. But got dropped for ratface after a brilliant performance against celtic and it was clear he would have made a difference at Pittodrie in the first game. Now not even in the match squad. The Specky Forum Organiser and ForeverAndEver

CF2 WINNIE 1,006
Ridiculous he’s been dropped out of the picture, up there as our best player and physical enough to make the difference. delparlane
SIRB_72 4,001
Well I totally agree with his complaints. As I mentioned in the Kamara thread McCrorie seems to get benched at the drop of a hat. In the autumn he got dropped unfairly but you could see it being for his development. He came back into the side in December and has played very well since and as soon as Kamara came in he was out after St. Johnstone. We play better when he's starting, we concede a lot less goals when he starts and ultimately we win more games when he starts! I will say I'm not a fan of him "running his mouth" in public. I'd much rather he went to the manager. BlueAvenger and Zappa6995

Begby 224
Id imagine the reason hes not played is because we beat Killie 5-0, Hamilton 5-0 & Dundee 4-0. The gaffer is not going to change the team after big wins like that.
