I can understand the argument and I fell for it myself yet again until a few months ago, I don't even think he's that good offensively, it's staggering the amount of times I've saw him lose possession so easily going forward or fail to go at a man when we need a goal, it's just run from deep straight to a man, stop, pass to Candeias, make a poor over lap that's tracked, run back, pass sideways
I do think we could easily find someone who was able to chip in with a decent return for a full back but focused on defending first, that's far more important than someone who gets you ten goals a season but loses you the same amount IMO, with Tav we win against minnows, with a competent RB and defence we hold out at Ibrox against the taigs, that's the difference for me
