DiamondDan got a reaction from Jamie0202 in *****The Official Rangers v Real Betis Match Thread*****
Before when we were beating sides like Ralid Vienna etc (who are no where near the status of Betis) the place was bouncing afterwards. We were all delighted to be winning in Europe against respectable sides.
I think there are a few issues behind that:
1. Now we have come to expect to win in Europe and don't appreciate it like we maybe should.
2. I think that the fans, unconsciously, see our European journey as being an arc, with Seville being the peak and now we are on the slide. Anything less than the final is not as exciting any more.
3. For most Europe is seen as a bonus. The league is the bread and butter, so if we are doing badly in the league, then what happens in Europe is not that important.
I also think that most fans have made their minds up on Beale and winning in Europe is unlikely to have much impact in changing any minds.
I think he's at the stage where he's going to find it very very difficult to recover and convicne fans that hes the right man for the job.
If we win a game now the attitude is "well we should be winning anyway". Even if we win 5 on the trot, it will only shift the dial in a posotive direction very slightly, he will get some goodwill, but not a lot and it would be easily lost with one bad performance.
If you compare goodwill towards Beale as like a bank account then he is well in to his over draft. A win reduces his overdraft slightly, but he still remains over drawn.

There’s an apathy amongst the support, and rightly so after our start to the season, hence the atmosphere.
As you and others have said, we’re just one bad result away from a mutiny again.

Disagree about points 1 and 2 but agree with rest from point 3 down.
There’s a disconnect between fans and team/manager just now and the only way that returns is if we’re top of the league and winning games.

Point 3 is the biggest one for me. Europe is a bonus to be enjoyed, but we desperately need domestic success.
Ibrox was pretty flat last night.

I've stuck up for you on here in the past mate.
In hindsight I called you a crackpot so apologies for that and understand your cheeky bastard reply.
With a clean slate from both of us can you address the points I highlighted and explain further?

Ben Davies did well tonight, looked much more solid than Souttar but we've seen before that all it takes is one mistake and he spirals.

That wasn't a shite performance bud. Plenty of shite moments but we were good in the second half and thoroughly deserved that win.
Happy days

Don't think it was a shite performance at all mate, a few shite moments at times but as a team performance goes a thought that was really good and got the job done.

Big Andy scored in the 92 Cup final against Rangers.

The west end of Coatbridge is absolutely fine. No need to scout it out first. Gartsherrie has got Drumpellier and Blairhill within walking distance. The two most affluent parts of the town. You could do far worse in Coatbridge and across North Lanarkshire.

Its pretty well known by this point. Even his own family have said similar.
See if you don't have the right attitude you will go nowhere in the game and that's where he's headed.

The margin of error on offside has to be much greater than 1cm. For example a striker in full sprint recieving a pass, the difference of being on or off can come down to the video frame chosen. The passers contact with the ball will occupy a few frames.

Fuck sake. Every cunt fair loves the Rangers when they have left us eh?

DiamondDan reacted to JockWallace in Morelos statement
I have no time for Morelos. I feel he cost us as many games as he won for us. I felt that he only saw us as a stepping stone. He always had one eye on the door. The fact that he couldn’t even be bothered to learn the language spoke volumes. I lost all respect for him when he got sent off against Hibs , dropping g us to 9 men and he was laughing while walking off the park. Some supporters idolised him but, I feel that’s the younger ones who have never seen some of the true talent we have seen at Ibrox.

DiamondDan reacted to bluenoz in Morelos statement
Loved him. I really did but he's not telling the whole story here.
Why did you show up late from Columbia before a big cup game at Tynecastle forcing Gerrard to drop you? Why did you let yourself get out of shape? Why did you down tools in the last year of your contract?
You had it all Alfie. You fucked it. Don't come out with these soundbites after the fact.
Could have been a legend. Isn't one.
